  • Ignoring the creationist raging at his inability to reason, this was an absolutely fantastic video and that equation is very cool. Thanks! :)

  • What !?

  • Why do creationists even come here? If you can't reason or discuss anything. There is surely no point in trying to. Any reasonable person would atleast admit if they're wrong or if they lack evidence.

  • @ThePepsiNarkoman Ephesians 1: 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to son ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will. The only way one is saved is through hearing the gospel,so believe on the Lord Jesus or Perish. Now you've heard it.

  • If thats the size the earth would be to be a black hole can you determine how big the black hole at the center of the galaxy would be. Not including the event horizon.

  • As a matter of fact ALL solutions of the Einstein field equations are geometrical objects that exist in spacetime.

  • Hand me that cosmic crushing device

  • That's nothing, atheists believe all the matter in the universe was compressed into a speck one time,i mean before time, wait a minute,no matter could exist before time and no space to hold the speck could exist either?oh well,at least that's what they've been lead to believe by some real smart people that believe in a thing called scientism..

  • @CBALLEN Actually I'm pretty sure Stephen Hawking took that back.

  • @CBALLEN Because, ya know, things that can be observed by the average person should never be trusted over a book some biased humans wrote in a cave a couple thousand years ago.

  • @OOZ662 The Bible is an Encyclopedia of 66 books in one,it had over 4o writers and each one lived at different time some on different continents yet all their writings are in harmony with the rest ,all telling the same story. The Bible is the most unique book ever given to man, every word was written ,not by men's free will, but was superintended by the Holy Spirit.

  • @OOZ662 The only unchanging truth is found in God's word and He observed it all,so I guess He knows more about the creation and how life got here than anyone,it's all HIS-TORY and if you don't believe Him,He has a plan for that too. It's either to humble you before your death and cause your belief or it is to condemn you,I hope it's to humble you later, but it's God's call, not mine.

  • @CBALLEN But, remember, that history was written by humans. Humans who excluded stories from their book because they didn't fit the agenda. Everything you know and believe on the subject comes from the word of other humans. Why is it that people can believe a book written thousands of years ago as solid fact, but when new, actually observable information comes along, it must be ignored or slandered?

When the choice is believing in a book character or what I can see myself, I'll take #2

  • Then by your biased reasoning you must reject all ancient books and the characters that existed then, hey maybe George Washington was a fabricated personality, have you ever seen any photographs?.Do you know anyone that knew him?Jesus has more evidence for his life and who He is than any other in HIStory. The miracles and facts about His life even appeared 1500 yrs before He lived as prophecy fulfilled in His time.He lived preached as God,raised the dead, was crucified and was raised 2 life.

  • @CBALLEN Your ignorance is overwhelming. Jesus probebly existed in some sense. He was probably an insane priest of some form.

  • @CBALLEN Please stay away from this channel. It's good for everybody.

  • @Nadeeja94 So I"m I a thorn in your side am I? God is our Creator and all who deny this until death will face God(Jesus),and have all their sins revealed to everyone and God,nothing will be hidden and you will pay for your sins because without Christ you're still under the Law and punishment is the eternal lake of Fire, but before you're cast in,you will bow down and confess JESUS IS LORD.

  • @CBALLEN I'm not going to argue about the so called god with you because you're so ignorant.People of the past were unable to explain natural phenomenons, so they made up a story about a god. It was the easiest explanation to everything. Now we live in an age where we are understanding these phenomenons, and you still talk about a non-existing god. If you want to believe that there's a god so badly, let me put it this way. Science is god and Mathematics is his language.

  • @Nadeeja Yet science doesn't have a clue how everything got here, none of them know, because nothing natural could have created the universe. It took something supernatural, who is ETERNAL SPIRIT and possesses all intelligence,He is omnipresent,He created from His own ASIETY .He created things fully formed & functioning just like the fossil record shows, there's no intermediates even Gould attested 2 that. There's no proof 4 anything but variations in KINDS of animals, that's it.You trust in Your Faith

  • @CBALLEN You say "nothing natural could have created the universe". How do you come to that conclusion? And where did God come from? Anything can happen naturally. There's is a possibility for everything. There's a chance of a big bang in the next second.Chances of it happening are narrow, but not nil. There is a chance that a group of atoms formed a cell in the primordial soup, the first living thing.

  • @Nadeeja The first law of thermodynamics says it,it says that Matter can neither be created or destroyed. This means by any natural means.God is supernatural who made time, space, and matter,He is eternal spirit by nature. He's kinda like the creator of the computer, you can't find Him in the computer and He's not bound by any laws of the computer,He put all the knowledge in the computer and can be all around it,but He's not part of it.God can even do more though,He entered His creation as one of us.

  • @Nadeeja94 Try this experiment.Take a live frog and put it in a blender and turn it on,wait 30 sec. and turn the blender off.Now you have all the ingredaince right there to make one or a number of frogs. So add electricity, radiation, whatever you want and make another living frog.It can't be done. You can do this with any living healthy animal and you can't make one live.God must give everything life.

  • @Nadeeja94 The only way God will save someone is if the hear His word being preached or it's read, this is how He has chosen to covert His sheep.God has chosen who He will save before time and He calls all His sheep through the gospel alone,He will cause His people to turn from the way their going and believe on Jesus for their salvation. He will forgive all your many sins and impart His righteous life to you as your own,so God will only see you as He does His son when He looks at you from then on

  • It's such a wonderful feeling to know if you don't wake up the next morning you'll be in a much better place than in a place called Hell. There is no feeling in the world any better than to know God has saved you,so no matter how bad things get on Earth you know there's some place and someone waiting to see you with open arms. All your sins will not only be forgiven but forgotten. When one dies lost they go to hell to await final judgment, then all their darkest secrets are exposed, then T L o Fire.

  • @CBALLEN Whatever man. You always come up with a irrelevant answer. Anyway I'm done wasting my time with you.

  • @CBALLEN Please, take your biblical nonsense elsewhere. I don't want to come onto a video of Science to be greeted by some religious nut talking drivel. If you reply to this with an essay - I won't answer. Doesn't your 'god' (as you call him) tell you to shut up once in a while? You Christians are like flies, all I need now is a fly swat to end your lives, one by one. Atheism <3

  • @Davemackintoshforce Just as long as it's not the Big Bang and Darwinism fine, because they're not science, they're scientism.God is the only logical cause of all the beginnings, like the universe and life,He is eternal, supernatural spirit, who's all powerful and has all knowledge.

  • @CBALLEN God and logic? Ehhh. Yeah. Faith is not a fact. That defeats the purpose.

  • @CBALLEN Evolution is accepted by the whole scientific community, and the big bang by the vast majority. I can safely say: Science disagrees.

  • @CBALLEN I can't wait to go to hell, keeps me going! I don't know what I'd do with my life if there was no hell waiting for me.

  • @OOZ662 Bottom line is,God by His wise council has chosen before time who will believe and who won't,I guess I just happen to be one chosen to believe because I do.It's not a choice,if it were all would end up in Hell.

  • @CBALLEN Why are you here?

  • @Duodecillian It is God's will that I'm here and even speaking to you, there are no accidents,God has layed everything out before the world was and it now comes to pass just as He wills it.God has a plan for every sheep and atheist.

  • @Duodecillian Jesus died for sinners and if you believe that He died for you then you are saved and all your sin will be remembered no more,His righteousness will become your and you will have eternal life with the Lord of glory.Would you consider that good news or bad news?

  • @CBALLEN So ignorance and stupidity is being rewarded. That's brilliant. Think about what you are saying. You have no proof whatsoever, if you think you do you surely don't know the meaning of proof. All you do is telling a fairytale. Why no try convincing people that santa is real or maybe the tooth fairy. It's just as likely.

  • @ThePepsiNarkoman Rev. 13:8And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made--the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.

  • ... some gigantic... cosmic... crushing device :D

  • @maeitze Thats why orange juicers are dangerous, crush an orange too much and it might become a mini black hole in a glass, similar to a storm in a tea cup really :D.

  • So I understand that the stars and what not orbit about the the black hole fast enough to create heat but I dont understand how the object for example say a star orbiting the black hole can just disappear. How can a star several times larger than the black hole be sucked in like that?

  • @MrSparkfies NO. As it swallows in light or matter it is heated, and then emits X-radiation.

A black hole is a region of spacetime that acts like a gravitational sink, it`s not a tangible object.

  • Comment removed

  • How can you be sure the gravitational field is not caused by the mass of the galaxy surrounding it? In that case the gravitational pull of the field would be related to the mass of the galaxy, which seems to be the case. It can be that there is hardly any matter there. I think you are extrapolating too much.

  • Super massive black hole!

  • is someone able to explain why a neutron star does not exhibit the nature of a black hole.

  • @rizzdrums4life A neutron star doesn't have quite enough mass (gravity) to stop light escaping, so it can emit all kinds of radiation, unlike black holes.

  • if light has no mass, how is it able for gravity to pull it?

  • @rashinalleyes Magic

  • @rashinalleyes the same with time. i think thats a mystery for now

  • @rashinalleyes Gravity does affect light (photons), it is just that photons don't produce any gravity of their own because they have no mass.

  • @Fobia985 To clarify, the reason gravity affects light is because gravity curves space-time, which is what the photons in question are responding to. There is no gravitational attraction to a mass involved. So in a nutshell, not only does gravity attract mass in a traditional sense, it also curves the fabric of space-time. Now don't go asking me about the mechanics of space-time (that's where I start to fall behind) :-D

  • @rashinalleyes What GaMEChld said is correct. I will also add that gravity deflects the light`s geodesic (which is a geometrical object). According to GR there is no `pull` (i.e., there is no force), but there`s a field of Ricci curvature.

Ricci curvature is something that pertains to differential geometry (i.e., math) NOT physics. There`s no way around it to make this story easier to understand. You must learn a little differential geometry in order to truly understand GR.

  • what do black holes lead to?

  • @08regib Singularity

  • @08regib sinus infections

  • @08regib Something as 'boring' and everyday as helping our primitive, insignificant minds get a hold of some knowledge how nature around us works...

  • It's so interesting i forgot to study for tomorrow's exam...

  • Wow interesting

  • there's a video about hawking radiation?

Becouse i was questioning myself a bit about : it's that radiation providing enought energy to possibly sustain life? (I'm not meaning "search life near blackholes i want just know IF it's possible even if apox zero chances)

  • @sixtysymbols Brady, please make a video discussing the Chandrasekhar limit on neutron stars! (and by the way, how would an american go about applying to the university of nottingham?)

  • Comment removed

  • when you think about it the amount of matter in the universe is quite small, press everything together and there's not much actual physical matter.

  • C'mon guys, cut the religion stuff and let's learn!

  • is there a problem with this video..i can't seep to get pass 1:34 :(

  • @LeconsdAnalyse Danke schön!

  • Would the Sc radius of a blackhole increase with every atom it consumes ?

  • @EveryoneIsBoring You and me both

  • @EveryoneIsBoring Yeah, so did I. Then I learned about quantum physics. That sure messed the theory up.

  • Why are there religious comments on science videos?! Religious people are a fucking plague, you're everywhere and won't leave me in peace, especially you Muslims! You constantly force your religion on me, and you clearly stand for the death penalty, murder, war, crusades, intolerance, oppression... On and on! If you're truly peaceful, which I doubt, please leave me and these videos alone, I want to learn things, not listen to imaginary stories and creatures!

Now fuck off, and have a blessed day.

  • Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth...

    Why?

Plz research neutrally before death comes to you....

    Atleast Study Quran!

  • Professor of Anatomy, and Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

    Said About Qur'an:

"It seems to me that Muhammad was a very ordinary man, he couldn't read, didn't know how to write, in fact he was an illiterate...

We're talking about 1400 years ago, you have some illiterate person making profound statements that are amazingly accurate, of a scientific nature..."

Study Qur'an before death comes to you!

  • They add to the black holes mass

  • @RavenEyeInTheSky

OK, how? If it disappears, then I can assume that it can only be done through the energy release which somehow has to be converted back to mass.

  • I don't understand how can particles disappear forever in black hole?

Does that mean that universe is losing it's mass as time goes by?

Is that mass converted to energy?

  • @moveaxebx The mass of the black hole increasing, the total mass of the universe is unchanged. BTW, it seems that mass, like any other force (nuclear, electro-magnetic...) is energy in a different state.

But to be honest, I don't know actually what happens to particules passed the event horizon. Actually there are chance that if we knew what happens there we'd knew how to unify relativity and quantum physics. :p

  • @YugiohMaster517 could you please specify who you are saying that to ? :p

  • So black holes aren't holes, it's just matter being held together by gravity and the gravity is so strong that even light doesn't escape. And he says that because light doesn't escape it's invisible. So since it's invisible light should be passing through it from the other side other wise you'ld see it as a dark spot. But it shouldn't be able to because it's actually matter? And really dense matter too. So surely there should be someway to actually see them? Can someone explain i'm very confused

  • @underwaterjesuz There are multiple ways to spot a black hole.

1st by its gravitational infuence on bodies around it (galaxy center).

2nd by jets of particles wich are ejected at its poles to tremendous speeds, temperature increase in these gases makes visible bursts long of about millions of light years. And to clarify one point, light can't pass through them because space is so bent that light can't even travel to the other side (event horizon).

I tried to keep it simple

  • This guy needs to switch to decaf.

  • well sure it's possible, it only takes 50 trillion billions times one million billion pounds of pressure, or something like that

  • @matthewaringarza good for you kid

  • How do gravitons escape black holes?

  • @sushicartman01 WITCHCRAFT

  • Do black holes absorb the light, so we can't see them?

  • @rahkshifan99 Yes, but also it bends light around it because of it's enormous gravitational pull

  • oooo wow! that black hole animation at the end is sexy!

  • Great video, but try to pronounce Schwarzschild the way it should be: Schwarz like parts and schild like guild (you got the sch right).

  • i never thought i would ever understand about black holes... thank you so much for posting these videos :D

  • i like these kind of things

    but i study accounting :)

    keep it

  • a beer to the guy that spotted it, my god that's a big galaxy

  • @ SebbeLundblad

No, that would only be true if ALL the mass of the sun was within that radius. The mass outside that radius will not contribute (all other masses will cancel out).

    @ WarMasterX6

Mass in a black hole is not destroyed, the gravity from it is proof of that. To name it a hole is sometimes a strained metaphor. it does not end up anywhere else unless one takes in concideration the ideas by some that a black hole can "bud off"from your universe, unlikely as that seems.

  • Is it possible that all matter in the universe could end up in a black hole? Is there no way of destroying or stopping one? I thought no matter could be created or destroyed...must read up more on this X3 to wikipedia...

  • i use this same equation to get head from a black hole its usually about $20

  • Wait.

Does the schwarzschild radius of the sun mean that any light that is emitted within a radius of 3 kilometers from the suns core wont be able to escape?

Or can we only calculate gravitational pull from outside a body's surface?

  • @SebbeLundblad NO. It means that if all the sun`s mass were to be compressed into a sphere having that radius, it would be at the verge of collapse into a black hole. And, of course, any light (etc.) entering the BH`s so-called horizon will not ever be able to escape its gravitational field.

  • Bouse

  • @EAGLESWORKS

Your in the wrong religion man. Muhammad wasn't inspired by Allah, he was in spired by Satan himself. Well Allah and Satan are one in the same. Anyway, Christianity is the only true religion, Lord Jesus Christ is the One true God. And the ONLY God. Read the Bible man, the truth is right in front of you. Everything the Bible has predicted is true, many things the Bible has predicted has come true in this day and age. I urge you to meditate on this. Don't take my word for it though

  • @jobulk oh yah i forgot that the earth is only 6000 years old and dinosaurs never existed

that sounds like they knew what they were talking about.

and also muslims believe in the same god as you

  • @jobulk Partial credit. Muslims, Jews and Christian's all pray to the same God, the God of Abraham. His son Ishmeal was the forefather of many Arabic tribes including the tribe from which Muhammad came, and he prayed to the God of his forefathers, Ishmael, who would be the same God Abraham prayed to. And of course followers of the Jewish faith and Christian faith pray to the same God. So a follower of Islam who is praying to Allah, which is just an Arabic word for God, is praying to God

  • @jobulk how do magnets work?

  • @jobulk biggest bullcrap i ever read. how do you want to know, youre right. if you seriously beleive, only you can be right and no one else, you are one self-centered prick. learn what tolerance is.

  • @jobulk bulshit, keep your preaching for retards...

  • @kellerdude4

If we did, we'd never know...... We'd be dead.

  • So wait, if we did crushthe Earth into a black hole, would it appear as a black/inivisible 8mm ball or would it look much larger?

  • name it...

  • you seem so shure about all of it :P

  • This is wild man.

  • That's amazing

  • so if the sun became to be a black hole it`s going to have at least 2949.3m of radius?

  • @SuicidaRubik yes

  • Geez, the Situation is smarter than he looks!

  • These are the three qualities that are told to us in the Quran in three words: So verily, I swear by the (planets) receded. And by the planets that move swiftly and hide(81:15-16) First word “AlKhunnas” means any that cannot be seen; Second “AlJawar” i.e that which moves swiftly and Third “AlKunnas” i.e that which sweeps and gathers everything to itself. This verse of the Koran are a frontrunner in talking about black holes before they were even discovered by the scientists
  • @emaan456 yeah, and the stars are lamps to stray demons... Keep your bullshit for the mosquee...

  • @Acrimonator Qur'an is the only preserved religious scripture and if you ppl study it neutrally, it will help you in many ways as well as in the field of science to make more discoveries.

  • Comment removed

  • @emaan456 Are you that ignorant or a liar ? Perhaps it's the exact opposite and YOU should study science and compare. It's full of errors, from the description of the foetus formation to the movement of planets...

You just repeat what you've been told without verifying by yourself...

Now if you are right, you should be able to give me one example of a scientific fact that couldn't be know in that time and was CLEARLY described in the quran.

I won't hold my breath though,

  • @Acrimonator: "and a Sign for them is the night: We withdraw therefrom the Day, and Behold they are plunged in darkness;

And the Sun runs unto a resting place, for him: that is the decree of, the Exalted in Might,The All-Knowing.

And the Moon, We have measured for her stations till she returns like the old lower part of a date-stalk.

It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the moon, Nor can the Night outstrip the Day :Each swims along in orbit"

    Ch.36,V37-40

  • @emaan456 And where does the sun rest ? In a pond ? Why did you not give us the whole quote ?

  • @Acrimonator 1400 Years ago when no one knew even the name of galaxy and it was told the sun is also in orbit....who can tell this to Muhammed(S.A.W) Who dint even know reading and writing?

when Qur'an was revealed,Ppl of that time made fun of it like the way you are doing....so whoever listens to his heart's voice, finds the truth...and I am not responsible for your deeds!

  • @emaan456 I repeat as you dodged my question, where does the sun rest ? If you can't asnwer then I can ignore you.

The sun is not in orbit in the milky way. An orbit is circular or elliptical, sun's path isn't, btw, they were talikng about it being in orbit around the earth like it was believe then.

  • @Acrimonator you just misunderstood...here are some other translations of this verse

1:And the sun is moving on the course prescribed for it. That is the decree of the Almighty, the All- Knowing God.(38)

2:And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.(38)

3:And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.(38)

    and earth wasnt mention there.

  • @emaan456 Ok, again that just says that the sun moves, this without giving any indication of the distance and trajectory. It simply described what was thought in these time by people without further knowledge, that the sun orbits the earth.

Nothing here tells us if it's an heliocentric or geocentric move. You just wish it says that but it's only describing what semt evident inthese times.

  • @Acrimonator Lol...Yes It only shows the movement of Sun but around what? and the diameter, rotation speed, total time of its rotation etc etc...These are the questions that ppl had to discover but No where it was mentioned in the Qur'an the sun is revolving around the earth..Yes But in Christianity due to trinity concept they made this idea but never Qur'an nor Muslims ever in the history made this supposition.Rather Qur'an states about Jesus(PBUH) just a Messenger like other Messengers.

  • @emaan456 Ok, so the quran said something complitly obvious, the sun moves, but you still didn't answer me it it was in an heliocentric or geocentric movement nor did the quran. Then you talk about the christianity, I fucking don't care about christianity here, were talking about the quran inadequacies. I suppose you didn't even took the time to check the previous facts about Galenus I told you, you just randomly pushes other vague claims that could mean anything.

  • @Acrimonator Ppl want to see every thing from naked eyes...and they know there are so many things that can not be seen even with microscope...

Ppl want to hear from their ears only and yet they know its limitations...

Why do Ppl want to understand all things through their brain and forget they have hearts too?

So plz Start asking about GOD from your Heart rather to Limited Mind!

  • @emaan456 that means nothing, the heart is just a pump and using it as a parabol to bind people emotionally to a book wich says that the sun rests in murky waters can only be taken as mythological poetry.

  • @Acrimonator "There are aspects (in the world) which are extremely difficult to understand.A famous remark of Einstein-and other people have said similar things,Schrodinger in particular-that the most incomprehensible thing about nature is that it is comprehensible. How is that the human mind ,extremely small compared to the universe and living over a time span microscopic in terms of astronomical time, comprehend reality in ideas which spring from the human mind?"

    Dr.Sabraneem chandhar shaikhar

  • @emaan456 you don't actually think that you made a point by quoting some one else ? Why don't you try to apply your own obseration and critical thinking to the matter, rather than relying on other's perceptions/interpretation ? And again, how the fact that we won't/don't understand everything does connect by default reality to one particular mythology ? Why theism over deism ?

  • @Acrimonator why dont you take challenge over biased debate?

    dare to accept it!

  • @emaan456 A debate with you ? What do you mean ? Aren't we actually exchanging points of view and trying to show our perspective to one another...

If you want a video debate, forget it, I don't have the time, either the will to discuss in a format that let people talk over the other. I agree that 500 characters is few but at least it keeps us on the point.

  • @Acrimonator we aren't debating...oh really? Then what you are trying to prove BTW?

Qur'an made a challenge 1400 years ago and still no one could break its record...what was that challenge?

To produce a book like that with the help of all creation(including science too:)...o.k making it more easy for non believers...Just to produce one chapter like it....

seems quiet easy and attempted many times but what is so special about this book that no one could do this as yet...?

  • @emaan456 Ok, so now you see you can't rationalize everything in that book you try to change the topic from its scientific validity (wich is wrong) to something completly subjective, its poetic/structural perfection...

  • @Acrimonator Francis Bacon, the famous philosopher, has rightly said that a little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes him a believer in God. Scientists today are eliminating models of God, but they are not eliminating God.

  • @emaan456 Again, people's opinion are not evidence, and adding "has rightly said" is of no effect enither... BTW are we arguing deism over theism here ? If so, I've no problem with deism as they don't try to impose dogma on society, they're just a philosophical curiosity.

  • @Acrimonator Deism: Means every one has a liberty to do what he wants to do like what happened recently in UK...means killing, robing, looting, raping and no accountability?

If you dodged law then you are free?

or in other words....writting on your paper whatever you like cz Examiner will not check your paper and you will not be given marks and no result will be announced....I dint find such system of passing exams on this earth...How can one think this about GOD?

  • @emaan456 LOL, another strawman... No, actually 2... I'm tired of your unwilligness to have a decent debate, you always resort to quotes or other low tactics as tying deism with violence or politics and divine authority...

Can you answer this ? If god/allah/yavhe was proven to be non existant, would you go berserk and kill, rape every one around you ? Do you restrain yourself of such behaviour because of your fear of damnation ?

PS: Stop spamming me with verses I already know...

  • @Acrimonator This is really very funny...that ppl even dont know the depth of science neither they acknowledge the opinion of great scientists and plus feeling genius while making simple things complex....:)

My point is very simple to understand that is Religion like Islam covers whole branches of science in it and many scientists also agreed excluding egoistic ones while science has a limitations of its range and cannot cover the vastness of religion..now its up to ppl what is their choice?

  • @emaan456 I know why you can't answer. That's so simple, you have to choices, yes or no.

Answer "yes" and you are a self proclaimed sociopath monster who only rely on fear to keep hoimself a decent human.

Answer "no" and you make god as "a perfect source of morality" useless.

Now will you take the time to answer or show every one here how good you are at dodging simple questions.

  • @Acrimonator Hey!!! What have gone wrong with ppl...why are they getting emotional and personnel in exchanging views?

    Calm down...plz

    I was on leave...

I am a student of Qur'an and science and sharing my researches with ppl so whats wrong with it?

  • @emaan456 Nothing wrong here, except that you dodged my question again...

  • @Acrimonator The Holy Qur'an also provides us with an accurate description of deep waters in the ocean, where darkness prevails. Nobody could dive deep enough in the ocean 1428 years ago and come back to tell about what he saw there. Only the One who has created Earth and its oceans could know. For us, Philippe Causteau and his crew showed us some videos about only some parts of the ocean depth, in the 1980s.

  • @emaan456 Ok, stop quoting sites, I can find them by copying and pasting your sentences with the typos like Causteau instead of Cousteau, and it's not like I've never heard that particular argument.

What now, deep seas are dark ? And nobody could have known before the qu'ran was written ? Come on, you can't believe that ? It's obvious to any one looking at the sea from a boat, see is deep and dark.

  • @Acrimonator Experimental science, over the last three centuries and as a result of the availability of precise instruments and the findings of a large number of oceanographers, has discovered the following facts:

    1) There are layers of darkness in deep seas topping one another. Darkness gets more intense gradually till visibility is utterly impossible. There are internal waves that cover the deep sea. The internal waves with the organisms suspended on hem prevent light from penetrating.

  • @Acrimonator 2)The layers of darkness accumulated on deep seas are ten: seven layers of darkness are caused by depth of waters, and three by barriers: clouds, surface waves and internal waves.

3)The waters of the seas are of two types:

    · The surface waters where light energy is found.

    · The waters of the deep over which layers of darkness are accumulated.

  • @Acrimonator The Qur’an confirms the existence of layers of darkness in the deep sea. It describes the sea by the term “lujji” (deep) to emphasize that such layers of darkness are found only in deep seas, thus excluding the surface sea where such darkness is non-existent.

  • @Acrimonator Linguists and Commentators explained the meaning of “lujji”. Qatadah and the author of al-Jalalain said: “Lujji” means “deep”. Al-Zamakhshari said: “’Lujji’ means deep and with large amounts of water.” Al-Tabari said: “Describing the sea as ‘lujji’ indicates its depth and abundance of water in it.” Al-Bashiri said: “It refers to something the bottom of which cannot be sounded.

More details can be found and studied by searching.

  • @Acrimonator In Chapter 24, Verse 40 of the Holy Qur'an, Allah (Praise to Him) says:

Or (the Unbelievers' state) is like layers of darkness in a vast deep ocean overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by clouds: Layers of darkness, one above another, if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! For anyone to whom Allah does not make light, he has no light. "

I know you will not accept these facts cz of blindness of heart but only If ALLAH wills....

  • @Acrimonator Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology, and Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

I see no evidence to refute the concept that this individual Muhammad had to be developing this information from some place... so I see nothing here in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved in what he was able to write..."

  • @emaan456 I won't comment on this obvious appeal to authority, this guy can tell whatever he wants, if he can't bring any evidence to back up his claim, it's only white noise.

  • @Acrimonator

    Yushidi Kusan

Director of the Tokyo Observatory, Tokyo, Japan

"I say, I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in Qur'an,

and for us modern astronomers have been studying very small piece of the universe. We have concentrated our efforts for understanding of very small part. Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts of the sky without thinking about the whole universe. So by reading Qur'an and by answering to the questions, ...."

  • @emaan456 Obivous quoute mine is obvious... BTW, I told you that prooves nothing. Newton also believed in the philosophal stone, guess what, he was wrong.

  • @Acrimonato

    Alfred Kroner

Professor of the Department of Geosciences, University of Mainz, Germany.

"in a way, you can say that the Qur'an is a simple science text book for the simple man."

  • @emaan456 won't you stop quote mining people or even use quotes that can only be related to their author on islamic web sites ? Confirmation bias ftw, dude. Seriousely, don't you ever open a book or look at websites wich aren't obviousely biased toward this book... Most of them start with the premise that the qu'ran must be right, then try to fit scientific knowledge in poetic prose...

  • @Acrimonator If you think you are right then Why dont you show the verses from Qur'an to ppl in favor of your argument ?

  • @emaan456 Because as I'm about to show, you're not interessed in truth, you only want to make up some silly argument to defend qu'ran, and you don't really care about Science and truth.

  • @Acrimonator I appreciate your questions and interest.....To know more, you can watch a documentary on you tube or Google "creators signature"

  • @emaan456 Try to do some separate seraches for both "Yushidi Kusan" and "Tokyo Observatory", then try to tell me with a straight face that "Yushidi Kusan" is a real person.

Now you tell me that this "Tokyo observatory" that I couldn't even find has a director that has no diploma, credential or even peer reviewed paper ?

He's ONLY quoted on pro-islamic site... Isn't that interresting that this guy only seems to exist on such site...
