After all the artifice and bombast of so many bands and styles, nothing really works for me like honest, simple beautiful songs like this. Good Lord, is this a heart-wrenchingly gorgeous song!

Still, I agree; a very good song. BUT "In any genre, of all time"? No. Check out Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Robert Earl Keen. THEN tell me what you think.

The majority of them are from Muscle shoals, Alabama. They have been around since the mid 90's. There first band was "Adam's House cat". Then the "DBT" came along a few years after that. I think now most of them live in Athens, Ga.

I just saw them in Tucson on the 5th. They are NOT breaking up, Jason just left/got kicked out. It's a shame cause the stage presence of Jon Neff is incredibly low key, almost like he's not even there. I miss Jason, he's a great song writer and guitar player. But DBT is Patterson's band, really. Anybody who disagrees should see them live..... they were AWESOME. Even w/o Jason.
