Even though I generally dislike the English translation of this song, you managed to take it and totally apply it convincingly to Erik. The more I think about it, the more I feel as if the English version really does suit Erik more than it does Frollo. For in the story, Esmeralda never loved him, whereas there was always some sort of love with Christine and Erik. Very well done; the timing was incredible and the zoom effect you did was very powerful. I loved this.

Really cool and clips match the lyrics for the most part ... Only improvements would be if you used the clip at 1.40 where she's sitting near the theatre fire for when the songs says "and now the night is on fire" also it's a bit distracting when phantom is singing but it doesn't match the song. I'd have avoided clips where his lips are moving. Then again my vid's arn't perfect. This was very well done. Favored it. Mike.

I never liked the english version of the song - it brought different emotions and the translation was whole different story compared to the french lyrics. Frollo singing this song wasn't that beliveable to me.

I found this video and WOW - now the song (english version) makes perfect sense. It fits the video completely, as well as the whole Phantom of the Opera story. I admire your work.

@Gollum322 Well the reshoot of the lon Chagny movie made him die of a mob, the original version where they took out of the movie had him die of a broken heart....because of the law that was passed proclaiming that all movie monsters at the end of the movie must die they needed to reshoot the peaceful ending with the mob.
