  • Nice flying, good control throughout. I have a question thoug: Given that you can obviousley handle this machine, how come you have flybar weights on? Doesn't it hinder your flips etc.

  • cool

  • hi, i have a question. i have a hk 450 and im using my walkera wk-2801 tx and there are 2 switches at the back of the tx. one is T Hold and the other F mode. when i flick the f mode switch the pitch just goes down and the throttle is at zero. when i flick the T hold the pitch goes down and the throttle at 50%. what switch is used for 3d flight?

    Thanks

    Rav

  • The T Hold switch is used to hold the throttle at 0% power. This is the switch you want to activate before plugging in the battery to prevent the blades to spin accidentally. The F mode is the flight mode. This is what some people call the 3D switch. Normally, you have 2 or 3 modes. The normal mode where the blade picth goes only on the positive side and the Idleup mode where the pitch blade goes both sides and allows for things like inverted flight and other 3d stuff.

    Hope this helps!

  • @magimat ohk, thanks 4 ur help. soon i will try some inverted flying, maybe in a few months. Thanks again

  • Nice!

  • watching your vid but had to shut it off when ya added the stupid ass music!!!!! ugh!!!!

  • what electronics do you have in it?

  • im learning on a blade cp as well and a walkera 22e .. the trex i have needs to be reprogrammed to 3d i have no idea how to ..

it came not programed for 3d . the transmitter is wk1001 can anyone help me .. how can i check the negative pitch if i cant idle up?

  • What is your travel adjust setting on the rudder like your piro rate

  • It's 115% on my DX7 radio if I remember correctly.

  • what is battery time in normal and idle up mode? thanks.

  • I'd say about 7-8 minutes in normal and 6-7 minutes in idle up doing the kind of basic stuff I do in the video.

  • nice flying, I need to be doing some 3d but keep bricking it, hate seeing my heli in bits

  • Hey,

I myslef started with a Blade CP and it's true that those little birds are really hard to fly. A TRex-450 is much more stable and easy to fly.

The stuff I do is really just basic 3d stuff. After a few months of practice, you should be able to do it.

  • Great flying awsome video. I'm new to rc flying helis and planes. Would you recomend a T-rex I've been told they're great. Currently I have a CP pro my first heli and apparently the wrong choice for a first one so I'm gonna sell it so would a T-rex 450 be the way to go cause I heard there about 4 times easier to fly. Also after I'm good at flying I'd like to do 3d is the stuff your doing really advanced or after say 6 months of flying the trex could I do that. -Sheldon

  • lol, Trex with Blade sountrack (movie) nice flying!

  • Nice flying how long have you been flying for?

  • I have about 60 flights with this helicopter and before that I learned to hover for a few months with a Blade CP

  • Very good flight! and very good video. Tks!

  • Nice flights and video
