This was a series that could have went on for ten seasons if Edward Woodward didn't get sick. It was fast paced, well written and extremely well acted! This series one of my all time favorites and was fun to watch. May Edward Woodward rest in peace he will be well missed by his fans all over the world!

You can tell d'onofrio finished filming full metal jacket right before he filmed this.Look at his hair! lol Too bad he and ermey got injured during filming our it could have been released in 86,beating out platoon.FMJ was done by the summer of 86. But because platoon came first,it got most of the attention.But full metal jacket has aged beautifully..platoon?not so much.Thank you mr.d'onofrio,your performance,helped make me a kubrick fan ever since.

Well its really interesting to see how a great character actor like VDO evolves to someone whose mastered his art. He always did the indie stuff until he went mainstream. One of my favorite actors.

Great series and decade ! Woodward is too kewl in this TV series. This is I think my favorite of the 80's ! Of course who could forget Crockett and Tubbs and pastels ?

There's another set of DVDs out there that must've been released overseas or whatever- it's the complete series, all four seasons. It came out before season 1 was released in the US.
