  • Great guys. Proud to say Dug has been a close friend for 19 yrs now. He even sang a song for our upcoming new KLANK cd titled URBAN WARFARE! Great video montage!

  • Have no idea how many times I have come back to hear Doug's pipes at 2:14...Incredible!

  • Ty, Dug and Jerry are three of the most talented people on Earth. They are also three of the coolest people you will ever meet if you are given the opportunity!

  • Boy I go away for a few months and come back to my video being used as a platform to argue religion. So I deleted several comments, even some I agreed with, because this is about the music. Thank you.

  • @WilB1972 So lets bring it back to the music. Met them and got my Ear Candy Cd signed in Toronto. If I won the lottery, I would make sure that Kings X got some payback ! Can't wait to see them again.

  • Its raining in storyland

Stuck in the pages so long

    Attracted a loser

    A practiced confuser

    A militant marsh mellow field

  • wish this had the lyrics

  • I'm preaching on Jeremiah tomorrow and was thinking of using this song in an illustration or as a benediction. There words and music has had a tremendous impact on me over the years. I still consider myself a Christian just no longer of the Pharisaical order! I can now embrace my flaws, and hope others can as well.

  • Like Dug, losing religion liberated me. He was religious, and gay. Then he came out and religionists turned on him likes wolves- where's the compassion. I'm proud to say I'm an atheist and secular humanist. That I can, or could if he were here, stand shoulder to shoulder with Dug would make me proud.

  • To THURISZRAGE: you sir, are pathetic. Dug said that the only thing he got from religion was depression. Let him move on!

Besides, I think that religion-based themes was one of the reasons that they didn't break into mainstream in the first place.

  • All he got from his religous "freak" Grandma putting him down is depression. NEVER blame God for the doings of man! I LOVE God with every fiber of my being, and He has turned my life into hope in the middle of some days that would put most people over the edge! He doesn't remove the tough times, He helps you through them, if you allow it. And they were closer to the mainstream mor then than now. Trust me.

  • faith or no aside i don't think they ever wanted to be mainstream

  • they wanted to be big... they thought they should be, what band doesn't ? nothing wrong with that. they toiled for years as a garage/cover band, every band thinks they should be huge, especially as talented as KX is.

  • What about Demon hunter and the numerous other bands that ARE mainstream. X albums have become side project leftovers and thats a shame. I love the solo project stuff, but what happened to kings x having albums with a theme. They were so much more emotional.

  • 100% on the money. Faith or not, the album is by FAR their worst! I physically returned it for anither CD!

  • theres less solos is big problem and it sounds just not the same

  • Thats because its leftovers from side projects. You can tell who wrote every song, which are dugs, which are jerrys, and which are tys. Julie is a great Jerry Gaskill song but it should have been on the second half of his solo album. thats where it fits in. not just thrown in the middle of a kings x album somewhere

  • You make me roll! Tell it like it is!!! Unlike all the other x albums I listened to xv one or two times and the words tuned me right out. then I see Dug and his pentagram and now I could care less to buy another one or see them in concert again

  • Good riddance fake fan.

  • i just wish Ty would put more solos in these songs. such awesome amazing tunes, but i feel his talent for guitar is not being utilized like it used to be.

  • @luvisacigarette8 If you listen to the catalog the stuff Dug writes tends to have less solo's then Ty's songs. It's just a different method in how they they see it,I enjoy both styles. I don't think there's any doubt this far in that Ty could rip a killer solo on cue but he's playing for the song which shows alot of respect and maturity on his part!

  • and when you think that youll never get over,

and when theres nothing you got,

when all you feel, is the pain and the suffering,

and when you wish it would stop,

and in your heart and the soul, you are broken,

and when you want to give up,

    I HEARED YOU SAY

  • Album of the year so far.

  • This song is very WEAK. imo just boring. zzzzzz

  • Is this king x against the law album????? love the jerry gaskill and ty tabor songs. too bad dougs lost the FAITH... YES ill Pray for him... ahahaha LOL.... "THE" X HEAD

  • might have lost faith, but i dont think he's lost hope!

  • this is at least their most focused album to date....they actally did "BEST OF..."type of album whith all new songs...plus you have 2 new bonus songs.....what a nice way to celebrate the carier of the best american power trio of all times....there i said it...go tell somebody!!!

  • This album to me sounds like a cross between Ogre Tones (obvious connection there) and a dash of Dogman and Tape Head. Nice production. I still like Ogre Tones better, but this one is cool, too. I don't know... Sometimes I have to just let things grow on me, and this one looks to be one of those kind of albums. That happened with Bulbous too.

  • I really didn't mean to be political. I just want a leader that will inspire this country to be the best it can be. I don't know if Obama is THAT guy, but having a song like this would be a good start. I'm just sick & tired of evil dominating this world. King's X has always been about Faith, Hope, & Love.

  • I can certainly agree with that, :-)

  • This song should have been Ron Paul's campaign song, but I don't mean to be political :) The entire history of music has been about warshiping God and inspite of it changed a bit in the 20th century I can still feel his influence in many many songs including this one.

  • I really think that this album is one of their best. The songs have a good message. Alright should be Barrak Obama's presidential campaign song. People need to know that things will be better & that people will become what was intended. Anyways, enjoy the masterpiece. See ya soon guys...LONG LIVE KING'S X!!!!!

  • I don't like Socialists running my country.:-)

But let's not let this become a platform for political arguments please - I just posted this cause I dig KX. I hate the current crop of Presidential Candy asses, I mean, Candidates. :-)

    Wil

  • I like the new album. It does continue in the vein of Ogre Tones, but I think Ogre Tones is the better of the two albums; that doesn't speak poorly of this album, I just feel strongly about OT.

Anyway, thanks for commenting folks. :-)

  • Thanks for posting this! XV is easily one of King's x's best releases...ever. It has a raw energy that really grabbed me from beginning to end.

  • Heck;Y-E-A-H Baby!!!One Day (I HEARED YOU SAY!!!)
