It doesnt matter how many people were in the crease, the puck when in before the whistle blew, therefore its a goal. You have to be a fukin retard not to see that.
This is Hockey east's way of saying stop playing with the big boys and go to the ECAC with your second rate arena with lightbright scoreboard and fan section that makes fun of its own team
@renegadeleader1 Oh you mean the best arena in hockey east? Wait till you see the new scoreboard. Lets see how many of your alcoholic players get kicked off the team this year!!! lol
i was there that game and i was behind the goal. i thank god that that wasnt a goal. it shouldent have been there were like 9 people in the crease. go BU
and if you crybabies got your way it was a goal....it would have only TIED the game...BU is still the best team in the country...you still would've had to play the rest of regulation or OT
I would rather have seen the game tied, play OT and POSSIBLY LOOSE then to see a legal goal taken away. Not to mention the fact that the under dogs UML Managed to keep BU to a 1 goal game.
the pegs came OFF the ice a good 2 inches like 10 seconds b4 the goal or the whistle...that is where the play is officially dead not at the whistle...the review staff made the right call
in the rules, human error is taken into account. ref loses sight of the puck, thats when there is SUPPOSED to be a whistle. even if the ref isn't quick enough to blow the whistle, the play is dead when the ref deems it to be dead. think to last year's unh vs BC game, when the goaltender's helmet came off. there was no whistle as the ref was not quick enough to blow it before the shot, but when a helmet comes off, or the ref loses sight, the play is dead. whistle or no whistle. no goal
Actually the play is never dead untill the whistle blows. There have been many games and many times where the puck has been lost sight of and play still continued. It was total BS what happened
Eh...play should have been whistled dead once the net started moving up and down. It did not come off the moorings but any movement of the net results in the play being dead.
The call should stand as a no goal but not for the whistle blowing reason.
more like goalie interference.

Shouldn't be a goal. Number 6 hit Millan in the crease. You can't do that. Good call.

Actually the puck was shoved into the net by a Lowell player who was in the crease when he did it.
No way was that a goal --KEEP CRYING.

it is actually ok to step in the crease if the puck is in the crease as well..
the thing that makes it no goal is the pegs of the goal were lifted OFF the ice a good 2 inches before the goal and the whistle.
