  • so does a squeaky clutch affect the transmission at all? or is it just a little squeak that i can ignore and have fun with?

  • thats awesome.

  • My old 240 did that, never bothered me always thought it was neat to mess around with in traffic jams

  • my rubber ducky has yo clutch beat!

  • it a master cilinder or slave hope that helps

  • eeeeeerrrrrrrrrr bleeerrgggg i HAATE that sound XS!!!!

  • You need to remove the slave cylinder and inject the pivot of the fork with grease. Mine had THE SAME sound. It's quiet now.

  • haha i laughed so hard 0:15-0:17 for some reason haha

  • @91cannibal lmaooo

  • need to grease the throw out bearing! trannys gotta come out

  • haha lmao, "HMMMMM? Lets see if it squeaks? Squeaky Squeaky" lol

  • What did it end up beeing, the fork or the cable?

  • no offense, but it looks like porn........LOL

  • my clutch does a popping sound when i hit the gas and let go it's irritating.

  • I got that squeak as well. Not sure how to get rid of it.

  • nope

  • Lol keep it like that, it sounds funny!

  • Does that happen only when its cold? if so, just put grease or a drop of engine oil between the ball-joint and cup that pushes the release fork

  • mine did that too till i kicked it then it stopped :D u should do it too !!!

  • flip the rubber boot from the slave cylinder.. if there's any fluid seeping out of it, it means that the slave is worn out and needs to be replaced. and that's one reason why is also squeaking. trust me...... tell me how it goes. good luck

  • Most civic clutches end up squeaking like that. Spraying grease in the clutch area will not prevent the car from going into gear. It will, however, cause the clutch to slip severly. Worst advice ever spraylube boy.

  • lol

  • @kidwithcoolroom1, It still squeaks :)

  • very funny. Thats how my clutch is.

  • That sounds like the "ball" that the clutch release fork pivots on has no lubrication. EASY fix...but you will have to remove your transmission.

  • Its fucking simple, get the spray version of lithium grease and spray the shit out of the inside of the housing. Poof goodbye squeak.

  • u spray the shit outta that and it will get ont he clutch disc and not go into gear at all. NOT the best idea..

  • Haaa! My civic's clutch does that as well... don't mind it at all as it gives the car character but as sageuvagony already said, lubricating the ball and fork will get rid of the noise.

  • sometiems it comes from the pedal pump i supose... also.

  • Can you provide further details as to where the camera is mounted?

  • It's just sitting on the radiator/hose.

  • is that easily accessablee ??

  • man YU JUST might have helped me!

  • hahahha funny as hell! had the same prb with my civic till i change my gear box...

  • I had posted this for a honda message board. They said they had a squeaky clutch thingy and I went and recorded this to see if this is what it sounded like. Just lubricate that ball and fork and squeak goes away.

  • hahahaha that sounds awesome!

  • If I'm parked and someone walks by my car, I start pushing the pedal and they start looking around everywhere going "what the hell is that!?!"

  • @sageuvagony lol i did the same thing :)

  • I have the same problem (squeaky clutch) with my 02 Civic. Where is the ball and fork located? And how & what kind of lubrication I need to use? Please help! Thanks.

  • thats not anything to be smiling about?
