It's so funny to hear people say they've had video chat and front or back cameras from phones over 4 years ago. That's great, but it must have been quite limited the amount of people that could be called with it, because it couldn't have been that wide spread. Being in the technology field, this is the first time that I've heard those phones had that capability.

As they do best, Apple made it fun to use, and widespread. (and I "was" basically a PC) So I'm not an apple snob saying this.

man i love all these apple haters, seriously guys obviously for advertisement reasons they have to pump up what they say, and yes we know they didn't invent video chat. But heres the bottom line, yes apple products aren't the most powerful but they are amazing for the simplicity and clean looks, after using a lot of android phones the iphone still feels the smoothest and responsive and no matter how you look at it the iphone looks better than anything motorolla or blackeberry comes up with.

4G isn't available in the US, so don't bullshit. AT&T is shocking, and Sprint and Verizon are equally as poor, although maybe not as overpriced as AT&T, who charges $30 for unlimited data per month. In England on O2, I get one year of data, for £0.00. Yes, I mean I get it free, just because I bought an iPhone. Better still, I get Unlimited texts for £10 a month. The cap on this is 12,000 UK texts, but only a retard would reach that.

What they failed to tell you was that you will hardly get 4g and most of the time be using 3g, and why do I get the feeling they are going to later bring 4gs.

I have an iPhone 3gs and the speed is fine and with the new os4 coming soon, most of the functions like folders, multitasking, multiple emails will be available.

So in the end you will be paying for a device that has 5mp and HD recording, why not buy a really good dslr camera instead.

I swear most of the features have been out for a while now, "face time call" that has been around for a while (on phones that is), the difference is, now the quality is better, "5mp camera with a led flash" ok that has also been around for a while, there's a nokia phone coming out with 12mp and with HDMI output. "multi tasking" again been out for a while now, nothing new. "mail" you can do that on most smart phones these day's. The Iphone originally had terrible battery life, 40% isn't that good

Great product, but for fucks sake people it's not a 4G phone!! 4th Generation technology is something the technology giant Japan has only begun testing, and a full global release is not expected for another 6-8 years! AT&T can barely cope with measly 3G, let alone the ultra-fast HD video streaming that 4G will boast. This will involve complete network infestructure upgrades to support this kind of data. Good luck seeing this on AT&T's network anytime soon chumps.
