@SyoShinozaki If the bring it out on consoles, they should leave it as it is. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are pretty much identical on all platforms (PC abilities like mods not withstanding etc)

I would LOVE to see S.T.A.L.K.E.R on consoles, but Microsoft/sony really should work on a keyboard and mouse for them, although to be honest, stalker's inventory and PDA system aren't really THAT complex.

but i think, the wishgranter don't even make the wishes true. or he make, but in a way, that you dont want.

and in the ruler ending, he said he wanted to control the world. so the wichgranter makes him a part of the earth, so that he can control it.

I guess he "saw" the zone to be beautiful , mutation free place, but he got blind and he just wanders and believes the zone is disappeared but in real its only disappeared from his sight and his mind :P

@gronndar Perhaps, but consider that the Brain Scorcher, another artifical anomoly made by Monolith, was not under their direct control. You cannot control the Zone, only give it instructions. And the Wish Granter was made to grant the wish of the user in a ironic and negitive, but still truthful, way. Monolith most likely thought that anyone who could make it would be so ruthless that they would make a shallow wish, like in the "immortality" and "rich" endings.

To get this ending, however, Strelok must be a truly good and selfless person in the horrors of the Zone. The type of person Monolith would expect to die on the way to the Wish Granter. They were wrong, and in this ending it cost them everything. Strelok also lives, somthing seperate from every other wish.

ye, this wish is quite selfless wish, so are trying to say that zone did dissapear? if so, it didin't, its just illusion, just like that rich ending. but if you really want to be smart, zone did actually dissapear, but only for sterlok. so in a way, wish granter is like a smaller, but advanced version of brain scorcher because its pretty much fucks your mind.

In "Rich" it collapses the ceiling of Reactor 4. In "Immortality" it turns Strelok into a statue. In "Ruler" it absorbs Strelok, possibly making him a part of the C-c. In "Destruction" it may or may not have destroyed humanity on Strelok's orders. I think that, being as Strelok is blind, showing the Zone vanishing would be pointless if it didn't actualy happen.

They may be able to set parameters for the behavior of the Brain Scorcher, Miracle Machine, and Wish Granter but I doubt they can directly control them. They simply never expected someone to survive this long and make a truly selfless wish.

After Strelok destroys the power for the wish granter, the C-Consciousness makes it self known to him.

This evidence greatly suggests these devices are controlled by the C-Consciousness.

to have the true ending you must do the strelok quest....so you must find yourself xD find the hidden stash-info-more info(xD)-talk to ghost, find doctor...and so and so...in the end you find a decoder, open a hidden door and then you can choose how should it end :P....sry for my bad english xD
