I have to think that everybody involved would have been better off had they stayed with King Crimson. This sounds a little like GGF. That is not a bad thing, but it is still not KC.
@Anglagard1 Yeah well Giles could be now known worldwide as one of the best drummers ever, but he always prefered playing as a session musician. Fripp wanted to record Birdman as a King Crimson song though...
@lughlongarm76 Hi there...I was trying to track down where I got the info about that. I can't seem to find it so maybe a friend told me since I've made a lot of contacts with British musicians from those days.
where can i found the rest? Yo y mi papá amamos este tema, sobre todo la parte que está al final de este video. My dad and I love this song, specially the part around 9:00 is just amazing (:
Music like this has reached only a small circle of people by the time it was actual and i like to see that some of these people still alive to bring it out on YT , thanks for that !
The reactions by my kids (21+26) is always interesting when they listen to my old music ,sometimes they like it or they say "what you smocking today ? "
Thanks for the flashback. I worked in radio. Cotillion Records released this on the same day as ELP's first album. What a great week for "underground" radio.
I remember my father playing the part around 9:00 as a kid and it always stuck with me. Probably the reason why King Crimson, and Yes are two of my alll time favorite bands.
Nice sense but it needs more solidity and better ensemble. I think chorus part of this song influenced King Crimson"Islands" and Yes"Close To The Edge".
Did "Quartz" cover this song?

We also can't overlook Peter Giles' bass playing. Probably my favorite rhythm section in music.

Coxx61. Sono una persona "ancora in vita" di appena 53 anni. All'epoca era possibile che un tredicenne-quindicenne comprasse rock di qualità
