use a curling iron with a 1 1/4" barrel most recommended and just wrap the hair around the barrel and hold on to the ends for about 5..6 sec and release the hair make sure the hair COOLS down and after your done spray some hair spray on it and run your fingers through p.s using mouse on damp hair letting it air before you curl gives a more long lasting hold ! good luck B

It'll only work if the top was layered and shorter than the curls.

My hair has one length and isn't layered so this wont work for me. :(

The girl shown has obvious layers and medium-thin hair, so the curls will fall into even sections. Curls are much more difficult with one length hair, you will get a more poofy-poodle look . It is best to know your hair style and what works best for your hair before trying every type of hair styling techniques.

It looks like he's using a 1 1/2" curler. Also, he said 10 seconds, but I think it depends on the thickness of your hair. Try not leaving the curler on as long, and definitely remember about not curling the ends.

No, because once you straighten it, it wont hold the curl very well. Im not really sure why but it doesnt. I have wavy hair to. But brush it before you put it in the curler or else it will look messy

yeah...and because you have it wavy it will hold the curls much better...you just have to divide your hire like above and brush it good and that's it, you can start curling it

hey i have the same hair type! what usually works for me is 1. blow dry your hair working it through your fingers so it naturally straightens out, 2. then use the medium barrel curling iron as advised above. the heat from it will help smooth the curl anyway. 3. make sure to use something like the wax spray above to ease the frizz out.
