  • never what else did all coments answer the text in the music an seemed to be on common radio im as pease in sugar where my nice liitele vid found a home

  • Yeah, why is the black guy taking it all the time?

  • why do you always have to beat up the black guy?

  • Punches in the 'street demo' portion around 1:45 don't seem to have any sturcure behind them. Basically, the elbow isn't down/in and connected to the hip. Otherwise, nice vid

  • We can all compare MAs, but have you utilised it in the streets? The best way is by fighting in the streets, two very effective MA in the streets is Boxing & MT.

Simulate a real fight by sparing full contact with a partner, however staying composed, relaxation is the key to executing impetuous striking and Impregnable defence.

MT and boxing use the natural stance and mechanics of the human body.

  • Do u go looking for fights?

The successful application of self defence (no matter what MA it be) is dependent on the indivdiual's level of skill in that art. Someone could be amazing at karate and another crap at boxing..whose more like to succeed?Id guess the Karate guy.

Another factor - u could be a good martial artist ,but have no experience in street fighting& the adreniline& psychology that goes with it - thats sumthin u can only prepare 4, thru real scenarios, no matter how much training

  • hence to know what works, just like both of us said, you must utilise it.

  • Pretty Lame- small guy has to much tension in strikes. The double lap sao at minute 2.43 whats the point - he doesn't pull his attaker in or use it to pull himself in. A perfect example of how not to do it! If your gona demo something - do it properly.

As for the dummy - u can see da whole form isnt perfromed, fair enough, but Id luv to c da footwork, u can tell from his positions on the dummy it isnt working eg. 4.13, 4.24 etc- less speed more technique. Just coz its fast dont mean its right.

  • Super, you seem to be hell bent on slagging off Kamon and its instructors? Why? Post up some of your own videos and show us your stuff, or go to Sihing Lee Saunders class in Ealing as he has already invited you and show him, please video it for us all if you do!

  • is kamon a WC franchise? I mean how long does kamon instructors spend training with kevin chan? & who has Kevin chan trained under? Its like kamon is the commando krav maga of wing chun, where u an intensive course with the head instructor with sum recaps & then u can teach under the kamon/ckm banner.

I've attended a few classes with eric a while back and have to admit i wasn't to impressed with his knowledge and skill let alone attitude, compared to other instructors i've trained with.

  • wcexposed, why are you people obsessed with lineage? Do you really doubt Kevin Chans Wing Chun? Im sure he'd love to hear your opinion on his Wing Chun!

  • Im just intersted to know how instructors are taught & assessed in Kamon - I mean there's so many instructors in Kamon how can u make sure the quality is what shud b. I also find knowing the lineage is a good way to know the quality of what is bein taught - i only say this as I've experienced CKM (which has issues of bein a franchise at da cost to quality)and it weren't that great and the Kamon set up & what I experienced seems da same - i suppose it varies with instructor

  • It's good to see Wing Chun promoted. Could anyone explain the Kamon Wing Chun theory behind the body posture between 3:50 and 3:51? We talk about a similar stance to this posture in our school. Our Sifu calls it "Toilet stance" where the butt sticks out and the neck is craned like

taking a dump. Would be interested to know how the body mechanics work in this one ;-) (only joking guys) Nice vid! Keep up the good work. JASMA98

  • Very good wing chun. Love the dummy work. Kamon is one of the best martial art systems on the planet, let alone in the UK

  • stick with Kamon. I ve been doing muay thai for three years. It is effective and powerful. However it is limited. Having studied Judo for ten years I can honestly say that Kamon theories are the most advanced theories of combat I have come accross. I was honestly awestruck upon seeing a demonstration of the art. I can string some very effective strikes together..Kamon practitioners will devastate within seconds. This is special stuff.

  • Excellent stuff, about time there was some top quality Wing Chun on show.Kamon delivers every time,Sihing Steve-Croydon class.

  • Great video, trained at one of Si-Hing Eric's classes for a short while, he teaches to a very high standard! when i'm able I will definitely get back training there!

loving the dummy work, want to get to si-fu's seminar later in the year! thanks for putting this on!

  • Its not often you get to see wing chun that really flows like this. You make it look easy!

  • great video guys

  • Im 16 anf have been training with kamon for 1 year now, however, i have started to be attracted to the prospect of muay thai/bjj MMA,there are constant classes throughout the week very near me at the same price as Kamon.

I am at a loss as to what i should do.

    Any ideas?

    Tony

  • thanks T respect to you bro

  • Eric Nicos has been my instructor with Kamon before going back to Italy, his wing chun is amaizing, I do thank him for all he taught me...Kamon is high level street fighting.... and I would not want to be the person to piss Eric and Pete off...You see skills on this video and yet it s not any close to how good this people really are... You see them in a dark alley and you have some bad intentions... just move out off their way or join the club.

    Massimo
