@THEBAYBITCH925 Pontiac has closed its doors my friend BUT Holden will always be around! The Holden Commodore was last sold as the G8 in 2010. The Commodore is still being made however. The Commodore has been around since the 1970's. The current model is the Commodore VE Series 2. Look up the HSV E-Series 3 GTS if you want the even better Commodore.
The background female vocals and instrumentation for this song originally came from a song by Scientist called "Your Teeth In My Neck", off the album "Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires".
poor american muscle, if they were only smart enough to loose the weight but keep the engine and drivetrain platform imagine... 2800-3000 lbs, RWD, V8 or even supercharged or twin turbo V6 and make it a 4 door saloon. Too bad not everyone thinks like young man in the auto world anymore
pontiac is not died, gmc still keep some pontiac ideas and probably in some year will be back with pontiac car under chevy or cadi or other gm logo :D
@stainshield They are actually 2 different cars. The caprice is a Holden Statesman (now named caprice) which is a long wheel base luxury version of the Holden Commodore. HSV also have a version of the statesman called the HSV Grange. The HSV E3 Grange is worth a look at.
If Chevrolet were slack, they'd just import the Middle eastern version of the Commodore, the Chevrolet Lumina. I know a lot of purists might hate the idea, but the ute version having an El Camino badge would get everyones'attention. They could import HSVs with Chevy badges as part of Chevy's performance wing too
@pnskbk In 2010, Australia's number 1 auto magazine ("Wheels") reported that Holden has been talking with Chevrolet about an export program. The Chevy version was rumored to have a camaro style grill. Other rumors include calling it a Corvette sedan or Camaro sedan.
You could've uploaded photos of the LE HSV GXP.

@baxter051 The HSV E3 GXP was just a cheaper version of the Clubsport R8.

GM owns Holden right?
uoweme50 1 week ago
@uoweme50 Correct, but most gm cars are designed on paper in Australia by Holden.
baxter051 1 week ago
@uoweme50 Pretty much but Holden seems to be smarter than their owners.

GXP is sick! SSV needs a hood with some attitude and I think it would be good to go.

@nusstang67 I agree but Holden are trying to give the commodore a "clean" look.

Chevrolet should bring the G8 from the AUSSIES back as the SS version of the IMPALA

@scarblade234 that's one stupid idea from them, they should bring it as the new impala or the new chevelle.
they should just do what Dodge did with the charger and the challenger, having the 2 door and the 4 door badass muscle cars.

@pnskbk totally agree.
