What does this theory mean? Is it just another way of looking at modern humans or some evolutionary idea? Either way, humans did not evolve from birds or bugs.

Insects which are a Class of Phylum Arthropoda. Humans are in Class Mammalia, Order Vertebrata, Phylum Chordata, and we are only related to Arthropods through Kingdom Animalia. Go take a science class at your local community college.
