Well, that never happened to me. I cannot help you with that. Sorry, hope you can fix it.

Perhaps you could re-install your games? But make a back-up of the files first, like copying the EA Games folder in another one called Sims Back Up...

ok i downloaded a bed frum raon sims and when the game loads and everything, theres a big blue box that pops up, i read it, and it says that the furniture i downloaded may cause problems in the game. so i disabled it and it still pops up, the furniture is still on my game, but willl it cause problems in my game?

No, able it. It doesn't make anything, really. Just don't download tooooo much furniture, because that will make your game slower. Reeaaally slower. Same with hairs and clothes. (I have more than 4 thousand downloads... my game goes pretty fast, but it depends on how much space you have on your disk)

umm, on the options tab (live mode, buy mode, build mode, options) there's two gears, use that to adjust your video settings, also the little monitor will let you adjust your graphics. but it make your game run slowly, so I keep it moderately low.
