Even though Phyllis doesn't approve of Shane's relationship with Molly, Molly still loves Shane and she cares a lot for her and Molly did not give up completely on Shane, she tells Shane to reconnect when she's ready. Molly is willing to fight for Shane, her love letter to Shane will fix and repair their broken relationship and Shane will have the opportunity to reconcile with Molly.
