Oy burbank..., we can killl those who support oppressors.... better watch out for your pigs.
you don't want us to kick off in new york and repay the guns you grave terrorists, cos that's alot of dead pork. But the burbank poliice love shooting US marines. Bet nhey give Bin Laden a wet dream about it.... and gassing protestors is like so hot for the redcoats at lexington otr Hitler as he saw the yanks drowning at Omaha beach
I was in Kilmichael in 1982, and visited the ambush site. There was a pub in Kilmichael with some very old chaps there. My two friends and I talked to them, and found out that they were young boys at the time of the ambush. It was hard to understand them as their brogue was so thick that we had to ask a number of questions in different ways to finally understand. After the ambush, the Auxies came back and made reprisals on the town and farms.
@seanogcarey LOL! Just trying to get reaction from "sanaasham" (still have heard nothing back).Great song to the video - still not a patch on "Dublin in the rare old time" - by the Dubliners - pure genuis as i'm sure you would agree! (R.I.P Ronnie Drew).
@RAGtagBAG88 nobody does what like the Irish? - Oh you mean fiddling with children? Too true my friend - why even Gerry Adams's father was screwing his children. No surrender.Viva the Paras
if the IRA field commander had captured this B n T unit, a whole pile of information could have been had! and not a shot fired, and no crying widows. a living enemy has great value! a dead one gives ya nuthin!
how can u catch 17 tans without firing a shot, better a dead tan than a living one,how many irish would of these tans of killed in the next 8 month up to the truce in july 1921,
dan1919breen...............then they could have tried to grab at least a sargeant or a lieutenant. better yet, a captain. at least that way some info could have been gained. i believe in capture missions. they can be beneficial to knowing the plans of the opponent.
easer said than done in the heat of battle,u havent read about the ambush and the tans said they were surrending during the course of the battle,3 ira men stood up and were then shot by the two faced tans so tom barry said let them have it and dont stop fireing till i tell u,
nice one tom, before he died in 1980 he said he wanted a private funeral, and a plot for him and his wife close to the republican ploth but not in it.he said in his eariler years that he wouldent place a wreath on the grave of a famine victim because they dident moblise to stick a pike in a few landloards
