currently the free trial is free forever but there are major restrictions to it. like only being able to play up to rank 10. the fun only comes in on the tier 2 areas and above which is rank 11 and above

I'm having trouble getting what the Black Guard's role in endgame is. From what I hear it seems that they are inferior to most other classes by the end...but I'm probably mistaken. If someone could just explain that to me that would be great =)

played correctly, they can be as tough as a black orc. they can also be the best at debuffing and disabling healers/casters.

well, i cant say for Maulor, but i really enjoyed leveling my BG to 40, but mine is somewhat useless in rvr unless i can get a group together to flank casters, but i started a sorcress a while ago and im loving it, it has burst dps, great AoE and annoying dots (for order) so i would recommend either a BG for making casters lives miserable or Sorcs to make those healers feel overworked.

yeah squig herders are fun for ranged dps. Chosen and Knight of the blazing sun are the closest to pally I can see

well, dps dies a lot more, tanks don't do as much damage. If you like tanking the blackguard is my personal fav, many people like the chosen though... for order the 2 most popular tanks are knight of the blazing sun and ironbreaker. For dps: Choppa, Slayer, white lion are all fun.

they die ALOT faster than the other 2, but can do some good damage if you have a healer to help you stay alive.

i might consider that ... dunno which class to roll , they all look tempting xDD i preffer mobile dps classes , melee or range doesnt matter. maybe got some suggestions ?

My first suggestion is to roll several characters and stop at level 3. By level 3 you should have an idea if you like how the character plays. Then once you have one that you really like, stick with it till at least level 25 before spending any time on alts. My 2 suggestions for dps would be squig herder & magus for destro, and white lion & engineer for Order.

it also looked like DAoC UI, Guild Wars UI, hell it kinda looks like Diablo II's UI... just because everyone happens to have played WoW it's automatically the first one that is used for comparison. Good UI design is about taking things that already work well and improving upon them. Play the game, then tell me it's exactly the same... haven't played it? you can't really say anything for certain.

use the 4 bar preset for action bars, then customize the UI and make the 4th bar so small that it's invisible and move it into a corner. then just center the 3rd bar and shrink it a bit (if you like)

drops in t3 RvR from gold bags. the boots drop from players in scenarios or orvr, and there's 2 pieces you can buy at a certain renown rank from the renown gear merchants.

there are certainly people who think they are god's gift to gaming and everyone who disagrees is a horrible player and they try to defame them... but most people ignore them or don't take what they say to heart. It takes a realm that works together to sack a city, and that means that people have to eventually learn to co-exist in a civil manner. Bottom line: most people are nice in this game.

Maulor, your on red eye mountain, is the scenario keeps slow for you too, I finally got the game and made a marauder, currently level 10... (I know, the game probably gets better and scenario queues get better) but do they actually get fast?
