Actually this song is a mixture of ALL the Sephiroth theme in history.... For instance, the song was from the original FF7 plus this part at 02:15 from Crisis Core. Cloud and Sephiroth are very popular but they don't really spring to mind like the more frequent elements. =P

The thing is, people focus on Kefka and Sephiroth and ignore the other villains. Look at ExDeath; not destroying, but ERASING entire cities on a whim. Cloud of Darkness is basically the void incarnate. Ultimecia transcends space and time itself. Emperor Mateus basically goes to hell and comes back stronger than ever. Even Kuja was close enough to destroy THE crystal and stop existence. These and the other villains are highly underestimated.

@IdleBigots Battle mechanics are battle mechanics. You can clearly see that Kefka's Light of Judgement was weaker as a Limit Break in Dissidia. Also, Meteor, the O-M-G thing that will destroy the plant in FFVII is now a mere Limit Break in Dissidia, doing damage. Safer.Sephiroth is already a demigod. If Supernova was used out of battle mechanics, it would generally do the same it could do inside, but it would really happen. We've seen Light of Judgement outside of battle.

And even though the party in 6 killed a god, that doesn't mean that the party in 7 would be incapable of killing a god. Furthermore, remember the weapons? Emerald and Ruby? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that 6's party might have some trouble with those guys. They're superbosses for a reason.
