  • Bo-lo-nai-say.....

  • i got a question, after you make the food do you eat them

  • You got that that turkey leanin.

  • unimpressed..... thoroughly unimpressed.

  • ahh. so milk is the secret ingredient! thanks for these videos :)

  • wow, 7 people who watched videos are complete faggots

  • oh, it is cooked in the hotel with poor equipments. but it is still delicious and nice. be the cook.

  • Chef John, your cooking on the road is more elaborate and tasty than mine at home.

  • love it... can't wait to try.....

  • That didn't look like parsley.

    But still, very nice recipe.

  • my spag bol is way better

add olives and soy sauce and maybe a few carrots = game over

  • If you simmer it for one hour, you shouldn't put the parsley in there so early, no? Put it in after it's done simmering for an hour and THEN put in the fresh parsley

  • Ground turkey doesn't have a lot of fat or filler that becomes grease like ground beef or ground pork does. The fat content is a lot lower so you have to use an oil to cook with.

  • ER...I wouldn't use that much oil...seriously. You can cook healthier by using a little oil and using broth to give it flavour.

  • nice bolgonese check mine bolgonesse !!!!!

  • good save chef john looks like a dish my italian family would love.

    ciao bello

  • i dont think that if ur family is iatlian love this.....this is an american bolognese not italian....blaaaaaaaaaaa

  • it's all good baby :)

  • garlic???

  • He is being creative... just because you are not doesnt' mean that it is wrong... thats how new recipe come out... by people being creative...

  • dude relax, he doesnt have his equipment, he said the knife is horrible...relax

  • Because nothing can be good if it isnt traditional. I hadn't realized cooking was math.

  • it's not such a criminal.chill down.

  • I soliti americani che rovinano la buona cucina.

  • mmmmm..... yuuumiii......:))

  • huh...??!!

  • i'm hungry

  • you have inspired me to cook. im going to make some beef stroganoff later today. just bought some knives also. you rock.

  • i made this last night for dinner and it came out sooooo good!! thanks FOODWISHES!!!

  • And a glass chopping board too! Unbelievable... I think it should be illegal to make, supply or sell those things. You could have the best knife in the world - after you've chopped an onion onto a glass board, you may as well be using a canoe paddle.

  • Cooking while traveling is hard... and I spent the last 3 days in a hotel apartment and yes, minimal equipment as always. That's why I travel with essential herbs/spices in a container and also take a favorite knife and sharpener. Doesn't take up much room and makes your stay soooo much easier! Great recipe by the way... keep up the great vids... :)

  • Sometimes we take for granted what we have back home. I had to chop some store bought hotdog with my aunts knife, it was like trying to cut some lumber with a knife.

  • Thank you...Now I'm hungry!!! LOL

    Keep those videos coming!!!

  • were gonna chop that onion, and man is that knife horrible....lol

  • wooo... tossing makes everything look so professional.. it's like a chef's secret talent! haha good one.. toss more!

  • i try to use turkey mince often, i had no idea that it had to be cooked for an hour, makes sence as my turkey bolognese is always a bit chewy and thanks for that milk tip too!

  • Can't wait to try this one! Anyway, that stuff on the pan? That's probably our unfiltered tap water, which you may have noticed tastes remarkably like blood. It leaves those scabby spots on everything. >:(

  • Great as always!

  • The first thing he says is that he is in Arizona

  • yum yum

  • it looks so delicious, im going to try this soon =)

  • looks delish!!! how about a VEGGIE RECIPE for the road??? :D:D pleasee chef John!!

  • The "timeshare" part of the name scares me.

  • The sound quality for the video was great. No worries. Awesome food - that knife seriously sucked though.

  • Very clever, Chef John!!!

  • You should try some casserole dish =)

  • i have a bunch on the website

  • very smart and resourceful!! A+!!!

  • fcuking AWESOME

  • Hey Chef John! Thanks for another great video. Im trying it tonight! Visit Phoenix, its a great city with great eats. Particularly, an Italian restaurant called Manhattan Pizza on 7th Street- Awesome homemade food.

  • Hey! I was just there too! The Oakland A's were all staying at our hotel. Wonder if I saw you around town.

  • Chef John is the best!!!! :D

  • Great recipe - ty chef John :D

  • Even your simple dishes are more

    complicated than anything I make

    at home. LOL

  • leave the ratings at 69 lol

  • Why are you down in spring training??

  • I love it.

  • Oh soooooo true. Rented accommodation always seems to have the worse knives...dull and dangerous. My wife and i have decided that at least when we are traveling by car, we are going to put together a travel kit, with a couple of decent knives and a good skillet and a good pan.

  • best dish so far, tres magnifique, chef john.

  • a foreign state HAHA!! GRIN THAT made my day :p

  • I didnt think it was bad. Now i'm hungry

  • This guy's e-penis must be huge.

  • Easy and looks wonderful. Thanks.

  • lol " how do you like that?"

man your awesome i love your videos :D~

  • More like bad ass. Way to tackle road cookin!

  • this is perfect for a broke-post-undergraduate-that's-out-in-the-real-world-for-the-first-time kinda guy like me.

Cheap & easy to get ingredients at any local supermarket. I really loved this one.

Please make post more recipes with this exact same theme. It has helped me out tremendously, not to mention a lower number on my grocery receipts as well as helping me keep a healthier diet instead of munching on those hungry-man and hotpockets.

  • i wouldnt mind cooking for you sometimes :-)

  • This would have been even better if you added some turkey bacon into the mix!

  • What?? No travel knives?

I'd at least have my Benchmade

    Combat Folder (sharp ATS 34)

    for guerilla cooking.

    Still, nice meal! :D

  • Ha as if you can get anything through airports these days >.>

  • why the milk?

  • hey, i use milk too as one of my secret ingredients! he mentioned the tenderising and thats exactly what it does, add a spash of milk to recipes like meatballs and meatloaf or any mince that may dry out i guess. works a treat.

  • Bolganese often times has cream in it rather than he milk. Makes it a pink type sause rather than just a red. Any Bolganese receipe includes it.

  • maybe we need to try something new...

  • SEXY!!

  • Looks tasty.

  • 1st LOOKS NICE!
