I've never had a problem with Billy's voice.

People keep complaining about Billy's voice in this song. The truth is, it really fits. David Byrne once said that if the singer sings great, then nobody will believe what they are saying. So, I believe, in order to reach it's full emotional potential, Billy doesn't have to sing good, he just has to mean it. Great song. I really wish they would have put some of the songs from the EPs on Mellon Collie.

Some people might complain about this 'not being one of his best work',but so what?

Billy Corgan/Smashing Pumpkins have like over 300 songs many of them which aren't used for commercial purposes anyway.

So i don't complain if one of many many songs isn't perfect,i'd consider myself a great musican if i could write a song half as good as any of the unfinished demos/unrecorded songs from the smashing pumpkins.

I really like it. Songs like this are usually written with more emotion attached to them then ones with severely articulate lyrics. Conciseness destroys emotion if overdone imo. The repetitiveness really gets the message across. The song is about him wanting to be totally normal. This is obviously one of his hugest life themes. To say this song isn't great is really putting down his emotions in a way. Again, my own opinions, but I really feel something deep from this song.
