he didn't just fall on his butt, he fell on one entire side so I think even from that kind of fall could easily break an ankle - plus he fell on a piece of furniture and stuff went everywhere...something could've hit his ankle to break it or something....I could be wrong but that's my theory because of the way he fell, what happened when he fell, the fact that stuff went everywhere, and the fact that he fell on one side of his entire body.
