The original series was fantastic, and Lindsay Wagner was great in it, but this new series was interesting in that Jaime was a different type of character than the original. I liked her relationship with her younger sister. It might have been interesting if Becca had learned that Jaime was bionic.

It would have been better if this show had been a continuation of the original series rather than a 90% remake. The crew that facelifted Battlestar Galactica ie Galaxative, thought a similar nip and tuck would do the same for BW. However, sans Lindsay Wagner's warmth and charm, this show couldn't measure up. And having Starbitch from BG as a termanatrix only made the show more distracting. In short, too much style, no substance.

There were shows like it that were much better, Witchblade, La Femme Nikita (even though I didn't care for it), The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Now, out of those, I really only enjoyed Witchblade, but still, they were all better than Bionic Woman.

My summary of the all new Bionic Woman. We were and still in love with Lindsay Wagner role , that we all expected the Michelle Ryan role to carry on where the 70s version ended. I put my hands up and confess to being one of them . I am watching the series again on dvd and find myself enjoying it so much more the second time around . Im so glad to own the dvd as im sure that i will be watching it over again . To end my summary : - PLEASE bring back Michelle Ryan , The Bionic Woman ...

Add the typical present day way over the top special effects and the typical need to totally ruin the original premise when remaking something for a new audience, and you have another typical failed remake attempt. Like most things, this generation of TV and film makers just doesn't get it. For them, fancy special effects and over the top scenarios come before everything else. Good stories, actors, drama, human appeal et.

I agree, it's too dark for my taste. Soundsand looks more like the actual Spiderman, very Matrix-like also. This show could have been great, but it failed for several reasons. First and foremost, you cannot remake a classic show without paying homage to the original, and they totally did not do that. See the new Knightrider as an example, that show will be cancelled soon too., Also, there should have been a Bionic man first, then bionic woman. Also, you have to like the character, and i just did not care for her. I mean, she had an annoying sister to look after. NBC cant make remakes anymore.

I made that post because the show was very poorly done, and betrayed alot of what the original Bionic Woman show was about. If they wanted to reinvent the show they should have totally abandoned everything that connected it to the original. I've been a Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman fan for 30 years (since I was a kid). This show was a great dissapointment to me. I would rather the new Bionic Woman be cancelled than watch it do weekly injustices to the two great shows that started it

The ratings on this show dropped significantly with each episode. The pilot got amazing ratings based on the hype and the love of the original series. The writers strike affected all the shows, the ones that weren't in the toilet were renewed. this show would have had a better chance if it was made with the tone of the original series. too much dark stuff on tv now. people are sick of dark.

The actress has absoluetely no appeal to me whatsoever. She IS part of the reason the ratings, and the show, failed. She may work in Britain, but in the USA she lacks star quality. Every decision made by the producers was wrong. they should be washing dishes instead of making entertainment.

She had a medium size "teen-girl" part in a popular soap. She was good in it, but she still obviously a soap actress.
