Hey, can you check what SATA speed yours is set to? Some sites are saying the new MBP's are capped to 1.5Gib/s instead of the usual 3, which really doesn't make sense as the last gen ones had 3Gib/s and they use the same chipset.
One question: You confused me with the RAMs part. Seems like you couldn't attach the new RAM straight away, but instead you fiddled with the original RAM before being able to successfully implant the new one. What was that about?
u sure your talking about the ram? The ram is the upgrade done in the middle area of the macbook pro, and I didn't see any fidgeting with the original one. If your talking about the Hard drive upgrade (right corner of macbook pro), im pretty sure his problem was the original one had "spacers" or an "enclosure" that held the drive in place so it won't move around. So basically he took the things off the or original one to use in the new one to hold the drive in place.
where can i get the dark night soundtrack i need it for my alarm clock!...cuz apparently im late for my every morning mission(drive to skewl)...this track gives me a boost
You don't take out the whole motherboard o_o you just take out the back cover and then you have access to the ram just like this guy did in his video.
ohh my bad and I don't think you can replace the processor without breaking the warranty. If you really want to know how to do it, I think you can look around the web, probably iFixit might have instructions.
does opening it automatically void the warranty or can you get away with doing little stuff like this??

Great video. I was worried before ordering that it would be complicated to upgrade. It doesn't look too hard at all. Thanks.

Huh, thats pretty uncool of them. Probaby doesnt matter with the supplied 5400RPM drives, but it does limit future upgrades.

You are just ON IT, as always. :) Great job, as usual. Love the music choice as well.

Your last three videos have been without commentary. One of the principle reasons I watch your show is to listen.
It is important to hear you talk us through what you are doing, what are your experiences and feedback.
Don't make the windows mistake- it is not about what you can engineer, it is about the end user experience.
