I will always the 6/8 rhythm of the Guanguanco. It is the rhythm that the African blood flows and will always flow as long as the people never loose it flow and identity.

I had never heard of it till now. I did hear of a 4/4 guaguanco stick pattern played with a 6/8 bell in columbia which is 6/8 as you know. Never the other way around. I gotta look into it, thanks.

that's a bad senior, he has his own style. He attacks the drum, like he's at war. Amazing, if i only had the time and money to be in cuba for six months. Senior would have to tell me to take a day off. I love drumming with all my heart.

LA campana está muy alta y ahoga un poco el sonido de los cueros... quizás un problema de acústica en la grabación. Fuera de eso, muy bueno. Saludos.

Gracias por el comentario. No había planeamiento para la acústica en la grabación y el micrófono guardó el cortar en un lado. La llave aquí es apreciar el vibe de lo que he compartido y no comenzar a escogerlo aparte para la materia pequeña. Esto fue registrada en Casa de Cultura en sitio pequeño con nada con excepción de los azulejos y de las paredes peladas.
