This song is for Miley, Nick said so himself. It was a way to get everything about their relationship out. Miley changed a few words of it when he shared it with her. I don't believe in coincidences. At the end of the song Stay, Nick says "I hope you're gonna stay" or something similar to that and in Miley's song Stay at the end, she says "I will stay" I believe it was a way of telling Nick that she will Stay. I think Selena was crying about something else. But who knows??

No i think it`s normal.
