Sorry for the delay...North Korea is an amazing place to visit, if only for the fact that it's so unlike any other destination. You are always accompanied by a guide, but from my experience, they're friendly and willing to discuss many subjects with you at length. Honestly, North Koreans stare in the same way that South Koreans and Chinese do. I felt more uncomfortable being stared at when I was in Cuba. And we were actually surprised at how much we were allowed to photograph. Go!!
