Did you have the cartridge pulled out a bit. That could have caused the textures to screw up.

It could also be that your cart is dirty or something like that.

Either way that's a very weird glitch. I hope you can figure out what causes this.

DUUUUUUUDE!!! i've seen glitched textures appear so clean and organized...even the music sounded like a remix combining both main level themes!
