i absolutely adore this song, it makes me feel warm and makes my heart melt. I love Roger Moore, I think he attributes to my thoughts of the song and that it is in possibly my favourite Bond film ever. I get a kick out of some of your comments but lets face it; the best Bond movie by far is 'For your eyes only'; the perfect mixture of both technology, and a strong story line. however this is the best tune used to open a bond movie by far. Sheena Easton is alright but 'Nobody does it better' is the best.

Roger Moore was definitely the best bond. Connery was good, very good. Lazenby could be worse. Dalton was good, not quite as good as Connery. Brosnan was just insulting. And Craig just doesn't play him right. At least with a Roger Moore film you were getting some comedy;) it's just so funny and the gadgets with him are amazing. An iconic performance, and in my opinion the best.

@CHill1045 Totally agree! Without a question of a doubt Moore was the best Bond. The tongue in cheek comedic bits were just the thing the Bond films needed. I mean come on - a globe trotting, womanizing, spy in a tuxedo??? RIIIIIGHT! That's real covert! LOL! And the bits with Jaws never fail to crack me up! Bond hasn't been the same since Moore stopped playing him.

@CHill1045 someone once said that Connery and Moore played Bond very well. The only difference between them is that when engaged in battle Connery would clench his fist, whereas Moore would raise his eyebrow and offer a sarcastic quip. For that reason, Connery will always be my favourite.

@CHill1045 If you read the novels it's clear Craig or Dalton is the closest to the character. Moore was the people's bond, added a new dimension but wasn't that authentic. And I'm afraid to say watching him wearing a grey pensioner's cardigan and sleeping with Grace Jones at the age of 58 never sat well with me.

@rich1701 exactly. i've been telling people for years that timothy dalton looked how ian flemming describe bond in the novels. and i like the fact that craig's bond actually gets his butt kicked. i didn't really care for moore, he was too 'happy'.  brosnan was ok. i loved connery and i thought lazenby did an all right job.
