  • Poor Imelda Marcos (remember that woman who had thousands of shoes?). I just started running barefoot after doctors swore I couldn't and I didn't run at all for 18 years. But Born To Run changed my mind. I ditched the orthotics and New Balance. I just wish I'd gone right to barefoot instead of using the VFF's - if anything costs a lot, my motto now is not to trust it. I had tendonitis from them but was persistent and now I'm running/hiking barefoot on roads and on mountain trails!

  • extra closet space would be very true for a lot of women with their dozens of pairs of shoes.

  • :-)

    Your video is so perfect.

But it is so funny at 1:09.

What has this bad (?) food to do with a good foot?

    I still love you.

  • "Declare the house a barefeet zone"

What, people use their shoes indoors?!?

  • Just got this book on my iPhone!

  • I have this book. It is awesome! It covers everything from the health benefit parts, to tips on what to do when you start going out in public.

  • Amazing that just a few hours ago, I was thinking about whether or not shoes could ill-affect one's health. I work from home and rarely wear shoes. I broke my pinky toe on the couch a few weeks ago, and my doc advised me to keep my shoe on in the house for a few weeks to protect my healing toe. A recent study found an astounding absence of cancer in ancient Egypt. That has me wondering if something as simple as footwear could be the dividing line of health between that culture and our own.

  • Love it!!! :) We should all be barefoot for sure.

  • I'll be interested to see if this book is good or, which I hope, excellent.

  • Great video! I would like to get this book :]

  • Is it true most Americans wear shoes even inside their house? If its true, its crazy.

  • @iSkyttens If that shocks you, then you'd be surprised that most Americans NEVER take off their shoes.

I know people who wear shoes and never take them off until they go to sleep.

I know my YouTube name says Mexico but I actually live in the United States so I would know.
