Maybe you should try re-training the teeter. Put just the board of the teeter (not the part that makes it move) on the ground and get your dog to race over it. Do that for a couple of weeks. Then when your dog is having fun with that, you can put just a tiny, tiny tip in the teeter (so it tips about 1") by putting a pole underneath the board, and keep encouraging your dog to run over it. Increase the tip REALLY gradually, by 1" or 2" (no more!) each time.
Nat, what did I tell you?! Ugh, don't you love it when I'm right? I soo told you Mika would kick butt in advanced. She already has 2 Qs in Standard and 1 in jumpers. Um..AADC MUCH!
This is great! I subscribed! sHE'S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DOG!

mika is great! she did good on the teeter! my dog is petrified of it!

Mika used to be petrified of it too! The trick is to start slow and make it LOTS of fun...do you have your own teeter at home?
mightymikaagility 3 years ago

Great job! So is Advanced like the second level after Beginner?
live4agility 3 years ago
Thanks! :D Yeah that's right, Advanced is like an intermediate level. In the AAC there are three levels -- Starters, Advanced, and Masters.
