Incentive to work (labor) and invest in the tools of more efficient production (capital) comes with being able to keep the fruits of those activities. All criticism of taxation and other schemes that deny these earned incomes is correct. But what Tammy does not know is that the third factor of production, land, does not provide an earned income to its "owners" because 100% of the market value of land and natural resource is created by society as a whole. Land owners hope we don't cop to this.
