It distured me when the lady kept saying the idea of the Sababth the Sababth is one of The Most Highs Laws not an idea. The Sabbath was at the end of creation during the beginning of time. The Sabbath isn't just simply an idea. It was reinerated in The Ten Commandments because the Israelites weren't keeing The Most Highs Laws.

Just wanted to mention that while the seventh day sabbath was given by the hands of moses and was indeed on the seventh day of the week, it was merely a shadow of a greater sabbath that would be found later in Christ Jesus.

The law was given because of sin. The sabbath was given on account of their disobedience, and was given to remind them that they were slaves in Egypt and that God brought them out. We're told twice in the scriptures that it was given after they left Egypt.

Don't forget Moses wrote the book of Genesis when God had revealed to him the things he did on the mountain. When God shared with him what he wanted him to write. He also had Moses write only that God rested, no one else.

This was the second time that the commandments were shared in the book of the law, or the law of Moses. They were commanded after coming out of Egypt to keep it as a memorial to being slaves in Egypt and that God brought them out.

1 Kings also mentions it being given through Moses, as does Nehemiah, as I mentioned in the past. Short of showing that God alone rested, we do not see...

any incident of it being given to man until God by the hand of Moses commanded it, and the reason for giving it:

Exodus 16 is the first incident of it being given to man through Moses, and it was Moses who shared with us the incident of God resting because God revealed it to him. Even in exodus 16 it states it was given because of their disobedience. This is the evidence we see. The belief that it was given as a command before is not supported by scripture, not even in Genesis, only God rested.

Don't mean to re-hash old conversations, but this is imperative to realize to ensure that people do not add to the scriptures based on what is received in a vision. We're supposed to test any information given based on what the bible says, not base the bible on what a vision says.

The bible says God gave adam and eve the command not to eat the fruit, but not once does he share with us that they discussed the sabbath command. If anything that would be a command still for us today shouldn't it?

After all it the fruit command was given before sin, and it was actually spoken by God and shared with us. Yet, for some strange reason, he didn't have Moses say that adam and eve had the sabbath command too? Yet, we're expected to accept that a law was given that was not shared until Exodus 16?

Look at this from a biblical perspective. All the cards are stacked against the sda understanding of the sabbath in regards of why and when it was given. I'll leave it at this for now.

I didn't hear her explicitly say Sunday, but many people are deceived into believing the Sabbath is Sunday. Even Herbert Armstrong was confused at first. His wife stated keeping Saturday, It was when he tried to prove his wife wrong, that he discovered that Saturday is the true Sabbath Day. The deception has been in effect for so long, the whole world is deceived. The Bible says Satan will deceive the whole world. And he has!

At the very end of the interview, she said the "We should go back to protecting Sunday".

While she does say some great things that I agree with, this fact is prophetically significant and the focus of the discussion. Although the host did not allow her to express her religious views, preferring to speak of the physiological aspects of rest, Judith's book emphasis is on the 7th day Sabbath is expressly directed toward her devotion to God.

One interesting point she makes is that Sabbath was to be observed from sunset on Friday until the appearing of three stars in the sky on Saturday. I have never heard it put quite that way.
