Gave up on Survivor about S10 ..Channel flicking S20 saw Russell's play about halfway thru the game and was hooked. The show and CBS have him to thank for S20 ratings. And I don't support assaulting women, unless if it was someone like you saying dumbshit to him while his kids are around. The charges were dropped. @pr0nanny He was the best player, and he did deserve to win, every decision and move he made determined the outcome of the game. Full control (IN A GAME) = Best Player. It's a game where the human element is the factor, where lying is apart of the human element. If you come into the game WANTING to lie and admitting to the camera that this is what you're doing, it just makes you sound so foolish to think that those strategic lie's define him.

Went on the show wanting to win, knowing that it's a game and knew people were watching. He single handedly evolved the game and it will bring different players to future seasons. He just couldn't win due to people who couldn't admit they had no control of their own game. They're all just sore losers.

Gave up on Survivor about S10 ..Channel flicking S20 saw Russell's play about halfway thru the game and was hooked. The show and CBS have him to thank for S20 ratings. Won't bother watching again unless the payback hate jury vote goes. You were cheated Russell. BEST player EVER. If they invite you back, get the $1,000,000 before you play. You're worth it to them in ratings.

@McCall72 Russell's strategic game was 9 out of 10, and his social game was 0 out of 10. Richard Hantz, Brian, Yul & Parvati were strategic players who WON survivor. But unlike Russell they knew how to charm the jury, and stay good with most people they voted out. The social aspect is part of the game, and Russell chose to ignore it. It's like being a golfer who drives the ball well, but can't putt for sh!t.

@vivilakers The trouble with Russell is he often uses intimidation and threats to mainpulate votes. The other great stategists of the game (such as Rob Cesternino, Lex & Richard Hatch) used social grace and subtle manipulation, and hence were able to stay in favour of the very people they voted out. You have to be BOTH strategic & social to win this game, Russell only had one skill.

Yeah, Russell may not be a saint, but he's a better person than John or Laura for damn sure. Russell is that guy at the court who plays rough and brag non-stop, but respects you if you can take it and play just as hard. @crazyflea... maybe I shouldnt call it an affair but the way he was certainly cuddling up to her in episode 3 was completely unacceptable. He is a married man and he needs to have more self control. There are no excuses for that. His little cuddling up with her it was pretty obvious that he wanted a little more than just to stay warm. And everyone is always commenting that he is following Parvati around. That is not even game play. Its an excuse to get close to a woman that he shouldnt.

i have never watched survivor in my life, until 3 month ago, me and my wife were skipping channels and i think it was episode 3 , russel seed
we watch 5 mins of russell gameplay and we couldnt wait for the next episode.
we ordered 10 seasons of survivor, we have watch 4 seasons so far and none of them is closer to be as good as season 19, because of russell gameplay.
so its thanks to that guy me and my wife are now watching survivor
cant wait to see him playing the game again in s20.
