yeah in no way is she janis joplin, janis has a much more huskier voice and a WAY stronger delivery and a higher pitched scream. you should listen to more janis. This girl has a sound AND look of her own, and i lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvve beth to death, i just don't see her on the same level as janis. however the gossips music is still great shit, can't deny that.

I like this song more than any other I've heard from them so far. When I first heard a few seconds of "standing in the way of control" I knew this was a band I might end up liking, and they are close to having "it", but there is just something that is keeping me from really getting into their stuff ( mind you, this is only the third song of theirs that I've listened to) I will continue to give them a chance, because there is something there.
