That guy may not have made a convincing argument when he was on the phone with the mayor but that doesn't mean Rudy has the right to automatically assume the guy requires mental help. Or be so condescending to say the man lives in a hole.

Anyone who would call on the phone, over the air and spew insults like that, is hiding in a hole, because it's easy to call people names when they can't see your face or find out who you are. That is tantamount to prank calling someone. I feel for his Parkinson's Plight and don't doubt he was shanghaied on his meds, but it was a cowards way of attacking the Mayor. Besides, he wasn't even stuttering on the phone, like he was on camera, so how was Rudy supposed to know who he was?

Let's take away this man's only source of medicaid and food stamps and then tell him we won't fund stem cell research that could potentially allow him to walk again, just like my own dad who has a disease similar to this man's but it's much more rare and for the most part, barely even researched. let's tell this man, "yeah go get a job!" who would hire him?! what kind of physical labor could he do? how is that far to turn people away like this?
