@etheriaparrott: It is included in the latest Snowglobe 1.4.0.3371 test build, and should soon be in Snowglobe 2.0.1 too (waiting on UI review...).
The checkbox should always be there, only it is grayed out unless all selected faces are set to planar mapping. If it isn't... well, I messed something up.

Aww I got 1.4 and the check box doesn't appear when I select planar

Can already do this with scripts but I'd love to see it in the UI. It would save a lot of time dropping scripts and markers.
