Hi! I have a 3 weeks old babygirl and the pain in your back is the same type of pain at the same spot I had. I think its normal, and Im not sure but I think it may be in the muscles. Later in the pregnancy I had the same type of pain in my ribbs. It felt like I had bruses /or had been working out very hard and it was a irritating pain. change docs!! have you thought about a midwife?? I'm going with one for my next baby. Have my pre preg apt this month. I was not happy with the other dr's in my ob's practice. I liked her but nevver saw her and she didnt' deliver either of my kids the other docs did, so what's the point?
I had pain there aswell... usually after i ate a large meal with fatty foods... anyway turns out i have gallstones... and a bad gallbladder.. it got worse when i was pregnant then after i had the baby ive had 3 gallbladder attacks that sent me to the hospital! i thought i was dieing!! they are the most painful things ever!! get an ultrasound of your gallbladder and see if you have stones. :):) i have to get mine taken out. but it is common to develope them during pregnancy!
could the pain maybe be from your breasts growing during pregnancy? i know people who have had back pain due to having larger breasts and that could have put a strain on your muscles...

This might sound stupid but you could have a knot in the muscles in your back (when they get trapped/twisted) im not pregnant but I have a stressful job and get it all the time, it's painful at first but to release it you need to get someone to massage you and press it out. I know that sounds horrible! :) XXX

Oddly enough my friend was talking about this the other day. She's having her second baby this fall, and she said sometimes she gets pain like that and it's the baby pressing down on your nerves. I think she said it was her sciatic (SP)?

first of all the only person that should be telling you what you have or don't have is the doctor not the receptionist or the nurse... that is very irresponsible of them to be telling you things like that... the doctor is the only one who can diagnose that... tell them next time that by telling you that is medical malpractice and its illegal... tell the doctor what the nurse did all she did was make you worry unnecissarily

For a *softer look but still cutesy*-Baby Bella! Very soft on the eye but so sweet! So now looking at neutrals: *sleek/crisp/clean feel*-Empire Green! I love the Dylan but can't figure out how it looks to me! lol :) Modern and bold but the lace made it delicate and danty.... :) Hope I helped and didn't confuse you more! lol

@lette76 okay so i looked on the website and for the girl bedding i liked ella, roxie, cline, and lacey. out of these four i must say i did like ella the best and i also like the crib since it's darker wood. i wouldnt go with a lighter nor white cribs just to be on the safe side. i havent looked at the neutral bedding yet but when i do i'll leave my comment. anyway take care love :)

it could be a nerve! the baby could be laying on sonething it could be a pitched nerve and they hurt believe me i have 4 kids.. u look great good luck!!
all i can think of is a herniated disc. my middle back was hurting on the left side, then migrated to the right also. turns out after i had an mri, i had two herniated discs. it has to do with posture and moving / lifting/ straining ur back in any different way...
