what blows my fucking mind is that they even used a sword from the VERY 1st GAME! Im not sure if everyone noticed but, his Magical Sword & Shield are from the 1st game. Even though it looks nothing like it, it is cuz the game actually explains in detail. It mentions it was found in an underground tomb and can repel magic energy as well as deflect it. This obviously refers to the 1st quest of the game. Too bad you can project energy beams like u could in the 1st game or from Skyward Sword.

To anyone else who disagrees that he isnt an anime, you're wrong. Techically his appearance is highly considered to be inspired by anime style art. I mean look @ him here. He looks radically different from everyone else, not cuz of his ears, his eyes, nose, chin, hair even. Its like if a real anime character showed up in the real world. But despite, he is the fucking man in this game. I also wanted to play the one with Spawn. To think, Lutienent Colonel Al Simmons would be in a game about swords

I loved everything about this game. Having Link in it just multiplied its epicness. I like to think this game inspired the future habits of having guest appearances of special characters from different series. I know characters like Spawn, Darth Vader, Starkiller, Kratos, and Ezio were cool too...but no one makes me happier than Link's appearance. Link is that fucking awesome. What I like even more is his anime appearance in the game. He looks incredibly different from everyone else.

It always has been. Using Call of Duty as an example was a terrible idea since nothing about looks like it was developed in Japan or using manga style art. Also, alot of other games use the same style of anime inspired art. Like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Stree Fighter even. theres alot

I liked how they handled guest characters in SCII better than SCIV as in SCII it really looks like they are part of the storyline, even though we know they're not. Because SCIV doesn't have Destined Battle scenes, and the Star Wars guys are never fought in Story Mode, we quickly forget that they're there - aside from appearing in the intro, and Vader having a special FMV in which he becomes Mitsurugi's enemy, there's nothing fooling us into thinking they are part of the story.

@Aeris97 depending on the Character's Play % (How often a character will get picked) (viewable in the options somewhere) it determines who will speak at the Press Start screen. Like if Yoshimitsu was 77%, he'd be there at the title screen, and say the name
