  • No pass interferance... The ball was not catchable. Even if it was catchable, the defender had his eyes on the ball the whole time and was reaching for the ball. He was playing the ball so either way it was not catchable.

  • The ball was uncatchable no pass interference was a good call.... Go Tech.

  • good job not throwing the flag on this one.

  • In slow motion that's interference, but in real time it's hard to tell. Huskers 2010 big 12 champs! Fuck Texass!

  • ball was not catchable.

  • that was clean

  • dude. we lost.

we should have won but we lost.

should have wons are still counted as big fat L's in the book.

    too bad so sad.

  • huskers shouldve won but they didnt, it still goes down as an L in the record book. and it certainly wasnt a cal that ruined it for the huskers, it was a poor pass in overtime.

  • Yeah we should of on this game! BUT We will win in Lincoln against them. Payback!

  • total pass interference and if we would of won that game that would of changed the whole Nebraska season

  • It's pass interference with the hand on the NU players back, but the defender was looking at the ball, which is why it wasn't called. You Cornhuskers played a hell of a game last year.

  • I don't like to make excuses and claim that you should have won or lost based on one call or a couple of calls, but bottom line is that this was pass interference. It was maybe a little overthrown but Swift was hooked and you have to at least give him an opportunity to go up for it. When pass interference is disregarded for an uncatchable ball this is not what is intended.

  • Watch the ref reach for the flag and decides not to pull it out.

  • Looked like he touched his FRONT pocket, not reached for the back. Isn't the hanky in the BACK pocket? "Hooked and held?" Ridiculous exaggeration. Huskers had a real grip last time in Lubbock ... not the last TD, but the 4th down "conversion." This year they just lost ... tough game ... but lost.

  • I think you mean Sooners. Last time the Huskers were in Lubbock there zero doubt as to who the victor was.

  • I'm a UNL fan & okay with tech too. I think UNL should've won cause they came to play & tech didn't.i was suprise cause i've seen tech play better.

  • Except for crabtree....he is the man.

  • Basically Tech is garbage and Nebraska had that game won.

  • wow prodigy thats a cute remark, maybe your team should finish out games and beat the team your calling garbage before you start posting shit

  • Won who won... Exactly

  • i agree, people think we should be undefeatable right away but its gonna take time to recruit the players. so Bo is on the right track. GO BIG RED!

  • I am a huge nebraska fan and looked uncatchable for me. But they played hard. Bo is heading the right way.

  • id say no. too close too call for a flag, just let them play. if he really wanted to go up and get it he wouldnt have been stopped by a small nudge

  • Small nudge? How can he go up and get it when he's being hooked and held? That's PI! If you look close, the timing of the pass was there, but disrupted by the PI!

  • As for as the PI, it was too questionable too decide a game like it would have if called. Joe played a great game, but a an accurate throw there probably wins the game, and a bad decision on the next play lost it.

Good no call I guess. Second time in the last two games against TTU we've had the game in our hands and lost it with our own mistakes.

  • Red Raider fans are so funny. C'mon, in the grand scheme of things, Texas Tech football has accomplished absolutely NOTHING. I guess that's why you feel the need to post a video on YouTube defending a no-call. We didn't lose because of that, anyway-we shot ourselves in the foot all game long. Have fun being the 4th best team in the south AGAIN. By the way, the pre-game chant stealing Raiders may have won this game, but Nebraska still leads 5-0, as in 5 National Titles to NONE.

  • I "felt the need" to post this video because someone wanted to see it. You "felt the need" to come on here and brag about championship seasons long since past because the Huskers are in the toilet and your low self-esteem demands that you have to one-up Tech somehow.

  • @Laconic913 Huskers are in the toilet? Right. Nebraska wasn't playing the red raiders in the Big 12 Title game last Dec. I don't have to one-up Texas Tech. I could care less about red raider football. Why don't you go stand for 3 hrs in a small storage building.

  • @cornfednebraskaneer

    Seriously? From a year ago?

  • common man, why the bashing, just cuz you lost doesnt mean you have to go on putting our team down. anyways 8-0 baby! what matters is tech is at a higher level than nebraska today so quit crying

  • wow i gotta make you eat your words, buddy. We are THE BEST IN THE SOUTH not the 4th best. And you really should quit living in the past b/c Nebraska has been getting their ass kicked by Texas Tech since I've gone to school there. Anyway we win the National Championship this year and yall don't even win the big 12 north. Actually y'all don't even go to a bowl this year. SO SAD

  • Fact check-You still have a game in Norman to decide wether or not you really are the best in the South.

Since youve gone to school there? Must be that TTU education that helps you post moronic statements like this. Nebraska owns the all time series, as well as the legitmacy our program has gained(that your still lacking) with 5 National Titles.

And if you dont think NU is going to a bowl this year, I have some ocean front property in Lubbock I'd like to sell you.

  • Let me call the waaambulance

  • clean play. tech wins.

  • It's a shove. Clearly, but it just wasn't in our favor. It was our game too. If OU makes those mistakes, and our D goes to work like we did that game. We will have a chance.

  • That's what Matt Leinart said as he was walking off the field as UT celebrated their national championship behind him: "They weren't really the better team."

  • But you keep coming back? Poor Nebraska. Sucks being a also ran. Keep on posting, your proving my point.

  • come on man you have to give nebraska some credit for this game. first of all, texas tech's O didnt do near as much as predicted. part of that was because NUs O was on the field most of the time, but the D had a lot of very nice plays and stops on arguably the nations best offense. plus, just the fact that nebraska, who is coming off of an embarrassing season and going through a coaching transition (thank God callahan is gone and pelini is here) played with a team as great as ttu speaks volumes.

  • I give Nebraska a lot of credit. I wouldn't say that Tech's offense was disappointing, as they scored on all but two possessions, but Nebraska played the keep-away game as well as I've ever seen it played. They executed a good game plan and very nearly pulled it out.

  • i think the missouri game was definitely a turnaround for nebraska, and ultimately that game defined the difference in the coaching. had we lost that bad with callahan as coach (which im inclined to think we wouldve lost a whole lot worse) wed have been in a downward spiral since. but with pelini, instead of pointing fingers, he took the blame on himself, and that really shows leadership on his part. it spread to the players and they have only performed better every game since.

  • Are you related to Matt Leinart?

  • there was a little a contact, but it was overthrown, Ganz just had some happy feet and threw it too hard.

  • That may or may not be interference, but the way the refs called the game, no, it was not pass interferene. If the tackle before the catch on Crabtree just before the end of regulation wasn't interference, that wasn't interfernce.

The refs barely called anything all day. Tech only had 2 penalties, instead of our usual 8. Nebraska could have had twice what they ended up with. The refs did not call many penalties all game, but at least they consistently didn't call much all game.

  • Smells like some sour grapes

  • i don't think so that ball was way over his head anyway they won't call it if the ball is "uncatchable"

  • that ball definitely looked uncatchable

  • Since the Crabtree play is being discussed, I've added it for comparison.

  • Refs dont make those small calls at the end of big games like this, unless it is a blatent PI. Coming from a huge Neb fan, there could have been a call on that Crabtree play but the refs dont make those calls.

This game was a killer by how it ended, but I am sure more confident that we can go 8-4 this year with OU as the only other loss.

Joe Ganz did an exceptional job despite his last throw. If he wouldnt have got hit, he would have been able to throw it away safely but oh well. GBR!

  • I'm not sure if that was pass-interference or not, only way it could be is if he stopped nate from jumping which you can't see from that angle. It's also pretty funny that Tejas Tech fans are mad about the officiating. Did you guys have 2 penalties? I don't think they called one on you 'till the second half. That's two conference games in a row where it seemed the refs were horribly biased against Nebraska. Maybe, one call against us wasn't atleast REALLY iffy. Just be happy that you got lucky.

  • Make up call. It was a pass interference. However, one cannot deny the pass interference on Crabtree that wasn't called near to the end of regulation.

  • Both teams fought to the end. There were some bad calls both ways, really. I thought Nebraska could not have played it better. They kept the ball out of Tech's hands and made our defense look pretty bad, so hats off to them The game changer was McKinner Dixon. He was so close all day to sacking the QB and his pressure in the end gave Jamar the chance to intercept. I am from Plainview, Jamar's hometown, and we are so proud of him!!! It was a fun game, though. The close ones usually are.

  • what happened you ask?

texas tech got a touchdown off of it. not saying you guys didnt move the ball against us because you did. but its pretty easy to score when refs give you yards and automatic first downs and some pretty bad calls. and the reason why im saying this now is cause texastech gets calls like this all the time. if the past 4 years were called accurately you guys would barely have a winning record. and thats non arguable because ITS TRUE.

OVERRATED. NUMBER 7? thats a joke.

  • im a husker fan

and i dont think that was pass interference

but there was a call earlier in the game. facemask on nebraska. if i had the clip i would show you that it was not only an INADVERTENT facemask which NCAA changed this year where they only call intentional facemasks. but also on the play a texastech player was holding the player, who got called for the facemask, to the ground n when your getting pulled down by your jersey your trying to reach for anything you can grab. what happened?

  • Uncatchable. If NU wanted to win they shouldn't have let Tech score in 2 plays to start overtime. I believe it was 2...

  • Are you kidding? UNCATCHABLE.

  • every special teams play, nebraska had hands full of jerseys outside framework. thats why yall got that one big run back. dont even talk about holding. i was at the game. you have no idea what your talking about on your limited viewing experience at home. i saw the whole field, you cannot even talk about holding. and that penalty was bullshit. ive been hit harder in flag football. you need to shove your loss up your ass.

  • I want a PI when your guy held Crab's arms down. The "roughing the passer" call was one of our guys touching your QB after a NEBRASKA guy pushed him into him. Y'all had a delay of game that wasn't called that went for 20+ yards. Y'all had about 2-3 no holding calls.

Y'all got some pretty amazing calls (or, no calls).

  • Not to make excuses because Texas Tech was the better team, but they were called on 2 penalties. NU had 8 (a week after NU had 14 to Mizzou's 1). You want to talk about no calls on holding (that argument can be made by both teams in every game that's ever been played) Texas Tech had countless holds that went uncalled. One of them was on one of the big plays that led to a TD in the first half.

  • wow. you want a pass interference there. lets go back to the drive with a bs unnecessary roughness which pretty much gave yall a touchdown and the pass interference that shoulda been called on yalls player when he mugged crabtree at the end of regulation that woulda lead the game ending in regulation. but no, if that wasnt pass interference, there is no way you can call that.

  • the dude threw in elbow in joes throat when he was on the ground that definately should have been called. why dont we talk about you guys holding all fucking game and not once getting called for it.

  • Huskers got screwed . fuckin refs

  • haha...how about that Bullshit late hit call on Tech's defense that ended up leading to a nebraska TD...it all evens out...Tech played like shit on defense and still won and they deserved too...good game by Nebraska but they just didn't have enough to beat Tech...Wreck 'em Tech!!!

  • you guys are so overrated. You didn't even play like shit. Nebraska just outplayed you and actually made much more mistakes.

  • does tech ever play defense?

  • yep but they still had a chance joe ganz has to make better decisions

  • youve got to give him credit though, i mean he had a great game up to the last play, and really he shouldnt have had to even make that throw--larry asante should have picked the ball off on that third down and took it to the house for the lead. it just slipped through his fingers.

  • God that was such a good game!!!!

the husker got things together and played well!
