  • MILF <3

  • Nice tits.

  • Wow, This is an old video Rebecca. You are still so beautiful and stylish! Question: When you made this video in... 2009 did you have any idea you would have millions of views and thousands (soon to be millions, probably) of subscribers? People who would love everything you do here on YouTube? I just want to thank you for all the inspiration you have given me and I'm just one person. X's me by 16,000 and growing! We LOVE you. Thank you for ALL YOU DO for all you give to us your fans.

  • ow.. i remember seeing this video so long ago ..

did you make this video for your son? to teach him how to fix his cloths?

  • @sumbook So funny Z... I didn't know you had left a comment on this old video ..tee hee... Yes, I actually did make this video specifically for my own kids who's mother was too busy with her career to teach them simple things like how to sew on a button... when they were young and still at home :-(... end of story... Daughter mentioned she recently watched this when needing to sew on Button... said it was really helpful ...LOL

  • Great vid but if someone is stupid enough not to be able to figgure that out leave them alone because that is the least of hier worries...

Ps I like you you are a good videographer too.

  • @walkertongdee LOL... you're funny. This poor video... how the heck did you find it? It was truly one of the first videos I ever uploaded to youtube. I mainly did it to teach my own kids something I should have taught them growing up but as a working mom, I never got around to it. Its been lost on the back pages. TODAY 2 years later, I hit 100,000 channel views and will hit one million video views tomorrow. Poor little video with 4K views. You'd be surprised how many don't know how to do it! RR

  • yes! i always wanted to know this secret ; )

also may i politely suggest you invest in an HD camera.

  • @pimplywimp wait i see in your latest videos glorious HD yayooo :D

  • Wow thank you so much for this. I was just going to attempt to do it myself but thank goodness I watched this for the things such as doubling the thread and the fabric stitch method. Btw, you seem like a very enjoyable person to be around :) And you have a 25 year old son? Impossible!

    All the Best,

    SS

  • @sjsawyer Hello myself from the past. Another button from the same damn jacket ripped off!

  • mmm milf

  • About threading the needle, have you ever tried using the small tool (for threading) that comes in the packages of needles for sewing by hand ? It makes this task the easiest thing in the world! Even with the smallest needles with such tiny holes. Let me describe it to you. It is a a very thin and flexible little wire loop. You insert this wire loop in the needle, then pass the thread through the loop, next, you pull out the loop from the needle hole, and voila! You´re done.

  • ahh you are a life saver :D about to leave for an interview and my button pops of my jacket :| THANKS :D!

  • Thanks Buzza18,

Hope your interview went well. Hate to say it but something as simple as a missing button could be an issue when you are wanting to look and present yourself at your best. Glad it worked out for you.

    Best,

    RR

  • Thanks for this Rebecca, should u moisten the thread with your tongue before connecting it to the needle?

  • Hi sweetcherrycrumble, you are absolutely right, moistening the thread first makes threading it through the needle easier.

In all honesty, I did moisten it but my 25 year old son who edited the video thought it was gross LOL so he edited it out!

Note to self . . . the way grandma taught us was correct! Moisten the thread by . . putting it in your mouth!

    HA!

    RR

  • thanks,

    RR

  • yeah , that is the correct way to sew those buttons on.

I wondered how that little space between the button and material.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment. Hope you found your way to some of my other videos. My 2 favorites are "Ikea Joeys Room" and "Before and after, home makeovers by Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson."

Hope you find them as enjoyable as this one you have commented on.

    Thanks again, RR

  • Good job! I promise you will find your buttons stay on much longer :-)

I will be showing my age now but I had to google "lmao" to know what you were saying . . . . . LOL

    Got it!

    Thanks

    RR

  • Cool. Try making a stronger knot on both ends or try unbuttoning your clothes before you take them off . . . . LOL

Thanks for commenting and good luck with future sewing ventures!

    RR

  • 5 *s

I wish there was someone like you and something like YouTube when I was a single guy.

i was hopeless with stuff like this.

Thanks for sharing your expertise. :-)

  • You are unbelievable . . . . do you do everything right?

You're mom must be proud. Your kids must be a mess!

Just kidding . . . just because my kids are a mess, doesn't mean everyones kids are a mess :-)

  • Thank you for your subscription...

    You are great...

    Daniela

  • O.K. I am thrilled to have this little clip in my arsonal to use with my kids next time they bring me their buttonless clothes. I will hand then the thread, needle and scissors & pull up your clip. It is time them to learn to do this on their own. THaNkS!

  • I have been sewing buttons on for a lot of years and have to say thanks for showing me the right way,,,never knew to sew through the fabric, then the button, etc.

    Thanks Rebecca,

    Jan

  • I finally know how to sew on a button!!! i usually have to ask my boyfriend to do the sewing for me, you have now made it so easy for me. You are my favorite you tuber, you give such great advise.

  • At first I was wondering what sewing a button on has to do with Interior Design. Then I checked out your website!!!!!!

What are you doing wasting your time with buttons? You should stick to Interior Design!!! Unbelievable what you can do. Leave buttons to old ladies.

  • It is very easy to understand and lots of fun to learn from you!

  • Cool, I know how to sew but for people who don't know how, I think your explanation was really easy to follow.

    Cute hair by the way.

  • Even I can do this!

  • I've always wondered what the extra button was for. Makes perfect sense!
