@chixhenporkadobo it was a matter of time and supply, he had to keep producing the same amount of troops in order to hold up. if he lost all the units in the produce time for the raven he would have been chopped up much faster.

@erand122 Well there's either campaign or online multiplayer (as you see in this video). The campaign isn't so bad. it's pretty much 3 different species fighting for control of whatever they're fighting for. The campaign is just straight forward, but online is way different. instead of computer players you obviously play the game like in this video here. it truly is about skill and adapting like he said, but really just play the game. you don't have to be this intense about it. it is a game.

@erand122 it's pretty much similar to Axis and Allies. you can have up to, i think, about 8 players playing in one game. that is more fun i think than just 1v1 like this video. it's pretty much a big strategy game with aliens. it is time consuming tho. a game could last 10min while another could last over 30min.

@erand122 that's pretty much it. you keep playing until everyone has been defeated. there are also custom games too and those can be pretty fun. games like resident evil, diplomacy(axis and allies), and other strange but fun custom things people come up with. so it's not all strictly player v player. custom games can be fun.

@erand122 it is like watching football and having no idea what football is. You would be like wow they just run around with the ball and tackle eachother. Starcraft is a strategy game and is like chess on steroids. Being a good starcraft player takes a ton of practice, studying, and knowing counters to each strategy and each unit. There is a lot more than meets the eye to this game. There was actually a class on starcraft theory at Berkeley I believe, not sure if it is still going on.
