@bassistdc It didn't appeal to me either, the whole pre-aged thing never has, until I played one of these and bought it. Now my pre-cbs basses get to stay home. Mine sounds wonderful w/ thomastic flats and for someone used to playing vintage fenders it just plain feels like home.
@TheBassfresh Funny you should say but my main player was my stack knob jazz until I picked up one of these road worn jazz basses and I love it! I've also got the j344?(i think) thomastic flats on it,sounds fantastic!

Nice bass, but the 'road worn' aspect doesn't appeal to me.
