In 2010 an 18 year old black boy with autism, Reginald Latson, was sitting outside a library waiting for it to open. A passerby called the police reporting a suspicious black male.
A deputy arrived demanding to search the boy. Upon finding no weapons or drugs he tried to apprehend him. Reginald was not compliant knowing he'd done nothing wrong, this conviction being more compounded by his autism. A struggle ensued. Latson escaped. He was later arrested. The facts that should've been considered but weren't are the kid's condition but explicitly put the WHOLE event into context (I know, being on the spectrum myself I can relate to his suspicion & bewilderment) & the fact that he was only ever approached because of racial stereotype/profiling.

Look at his family. Military parents. His mother has a history of charitable donations to police benevolence groups. As of January this year she was imprisoned. I still haven't found a news story that says what she's been convicted of but I read the prosecution actually used her public campaigning for her son's freedom in her trial.

In 2010 an 18 year old black boy with autism, Reginald Latson, was sitting outside a library waiting for it to open. A passerby called the police reporting a suspicious black male.
A deputy arrived demanding to search the boy. Upon finding no weapons or drugs he tried to apprehend him. Reginald was not compliant knowing he'd done nothing wrong, this conviction being more compounded by his autism. A struggle ensued. Latson escaped. He was later arrested. He has been in prison ever since.

There are millions of people living in squalor and poorer places lack that in comparison. you have to give people an incentive to learn, be rational, and be productive. Genes are not going to simply tell us that there is a God or not, that's where to an extent seem to be coming from ultimately. No, the only thing that's relevent to it is making copies of a stupid DNA molecule and anything else is relative to it.
