sorry this reply is so late: if you go to the six month braces website, there's a list of dentists who have been trained in this technique. no insurance is required for treatment, but if you have adult orthodontic coverage, you'll get some money for it (not the entire amount though).
the six month braces treatment is for adults, however we have done this procedure on teens if all the permanent teeth are completely erupted and the molars are in an ideal position. you'd need to come in for a consult to know whether it's possible.

depending on how advanced your tooth development is, 14 yr olds are often a candidate for powerprox 6 month braces.
