*WARNING* DO NOT get ad-aware!! it will slow ur computer down and when u want to stop scans, it dosent stop, when u want to exit ad-aware from the lil icon it freezes, im trying to go into the program to manually stop it and it has froozing the program on the loading screen
Remove AdAware from Startup: Go To Computer/ DoubleClick on Drive "C"/Double click on "Program Files"/ Scroll down and look for any Adaware or Lavasoft files. Right click and delete them. Reboot. If that does not work, under search in windows, enter either "Adaware" or "Lavasoft" and see what comes up. If anything comes up, DELETE IT. Good Luck. P.S. Download the latest copy of CCleaner and run both the "Cleaner" and "Registry" options.
Hey well thanks for your help but , that only will delete it and i would rather of uninstall it first before deleting all files. ccleaner i heard is pretty good but i am stil using ad aware and i learned how to make it with out booting up .
when my norton expired i had adaware on my computer, when i downloaded a program from piratebay i noticed a mysterious map in C:\ so i opened it and what do we have here..

Ad-Aware was good but now its just a big resource hog, and the company is very greedy! When it was free, Ad-Aware could remove lots of things and you'd only need to pay after like a 30 day period otherwise it was fine, but now theyre just greedy.

Ad-aware only finds one object, while malwarebytes' finds things within the 100s. ;)

Not worth Anything even FREE!! It would actually be Dangerous to have this on your PC as a person might think it could actually protect them.
They'd be lured into a false sense of security.

Ad-Aware is not the right choice for protection, this program might be used only as an on-demand scanner to detect just "adware" with mbam and sas
