Look at it like The Beatles breaking up. There is not one song, of the original Beatles songs did any member did a remake or what ever you wish to call it, one of their own, when they went on their own ways. If Exodus wish to play this song, do it with an Exodus arrangement and not a Flamingoes arrangement. . Leave the original alone and do your own.

exodus is great in their own right..but you see this poets and peasants that we flamingoes people are so proud of as one of the best ever recordings of pan playing classics..let it be known that this flamingoes is lever brothers gay flamingoes and has nothing to do with exodus..let us remain with the beautiful memories of the band flamingoes that shaped our love for pan..
I ain't knocking any band for as a Panman I love all Pan music from any era and from any place in the entire world .BUT as for this tune it is my opinion that no other band has played it so beautifully. This is a Classic from the Gay Flamingoes that would be very hard to beat. Thanks Guys.
Again this piece belong to FLAMINGOES and not EXODUS..if Exodus has thier own version then fine.. this particular version belongs to FLAMINGOES...SO THE INFO IZ INCORRECT
this iz FLAMINGOES it has noThing to do with EXODUS . when this recording was done exodus was not even in embyro stages. Kudos to flamingoes for a fantastic recording.
@Panchori1 ...Your point is well taken but for historical reference from their website...Exodus Steel Orchestra was formed on the 3rd May 1981. The band emerged from Gay Flamingoes. The song was re-recorded on their Exodus cd Sanch label.
@IsDePanInMe For the records , Exodus should have never used this piece and claiming that it's their's.
I was present when they recorded this in their panyard. Exodus should not lay claim to any of the works by Flamingoes. frankly I think it's a copyright infringment.
