Cuba City does have a thunderbolt, its located near the cuba city feadmill We have a vortex and hornet in potosi wi, feel free to check out the video i shot of it going off
Just watched your video. Sounds good, but I'd like to hear the Thunderbolt roar someday! That Vortex you recorded sounds nice, though. One of the better ones, I think.
@JustInn014 Oh yeah, I forgot about the Hornet in Cuba City. Shullsburg has a 28XX? Must be replacing the 3T22. As for Menominee, my cousin goes to college there. Claims the 3016 is loud. REALLY loud.
Just a kind reminder to everyone, we don't record sirens to stroke our egos, we record for FUN, and I'd really prefer no pointless criticism and hypocrisy.
I'm REALLY not in the mood for such nonsense right now.

Whelens are starting to come into Grant County by storm. I know of at least for WPS sirens in Platteville, and a Vortex in Potosi.

Here are some other Whelen locations I know of:
Cuba City - Hornet
Shullsburg - 28xx along 3T22
Menominee - 2016 and 3016s
River Falls - 3016 and 2806
Byron - Whelen Vortex
I cannot be sure if any are still there, though.

The last time someone went there, both 3T22 and Whelen were in use. Someone would have to check to make sure, though.
Good to know Menominee still has a 3016. They are about 124dBc at 100 feet, the same as an EOWS 612.

May not be yours, but I've seen it, heard, and loved it!

I'm not sure about Grant county.
There are 2 or 3 still in Fond du Lac county, all 1000Ts.

I live in Grant Co. (and recorded this) and don't think I've seen other t-bolts.

That sounds more like Chopper Level 3 running on a lower voltage.
