My modem has a locked usb(turned off light) and its connected to my belkin router. i cant get to my settings like putting in my ip adress, im on google chrome and it would wait then say error 101: the connection was reset. Im not even doing anything! peaswe help

If you have $120+ dollars to blow then by all means buy another brand. But this is a good brand if you are on a budget like so many people are.

This piece of shit router doesn't come with good instructions and the setup procedure they are giving in these videos doesn't work with some of these. Lousy instruction so I won't buy from them again. That's how to teach companies who is the boss. Put your money somewhere where they know how to explain their products clearly.
if i want a wireless router, do i just buy it on its own and connect to phone line? or must i also have a modem that connects to phone line and THEN to the wireless router? my internet is adsl2+

help!, i have this router. A yellow cable goes to my main pc from the router. A power cable goes from the router to the sockets. One ethernet cable goes from port 1 to my wireless printer and the cable which is meant to go to my phone socket s where i have a problem. On ym phone line socket i have an ADSL filter with a phone socket and an ethernet socket. My phone is plugged into the phone socket and is working. But my ethernet cable from the router does not reach this filter can i get a long 1?

This router will get around 140 mbps wirelessly if you have security turned off. With security on however, forget it, it only reaches 25 to 30 mbps. Also if you connect a USB drive you will only get 18 to 25 mbps, connecting the same drive directly to my computer and I get 250 mbps. The processing power of the unit is not good enough to deliver anywhere near a decent performance with security on and the supplied storage manager software is very very slow. I am returning mine.
i don't know if we have a modem to connect this to because we have verizon fios and they said that we wouldn't need one but i can't find any way to connect this router so that i will have internet for my 360
This router as its name implies, it will router internet traffic through your household or office, however, you need to get the internet signal into your home from outside via comcast or qwest DSL modem. The DSL modem will be plugged to a computer, This router will be plugged to the DSL WAN port.
